We bought tickets for a chicken barbecue, held on September 7, 2025 at the Greene Township municipal building on Tate Rd in Erie. This was a benefit for the Greene Township Parks and Recreation Committee. It was catered by Meeders!! The food was fantastic, we even got a flavor of iced tea that I had never had before! It was very good also!
We totally enjoyed our meal!!
Can you tell me what flavor of tea was served?

I decided to give this place a try since they have so many good reviews. It was a waste of my time. The place looks dirty and outdated. There were three customers including me at the restaurant. I ordered a fish fry which was the worst fish fry I have ever eaten. It was very mushy and tasteless. The waitress was too busy chitchatting with a coworker about some nonsense and hasn't checked on me once. So far, this the worst place I have ever been to.

Small town restaurant. We found it during a road trip and couldn't believe how good the food was. Milkshake was excellent, too!

Absolutely a wonderful place to eat. Fresh and homade food and homade pies with top notch quality down to earth small town service. I had the lemon pepper grilled haddock with homade tater salad and fresh cut off the cob sweet corn and to top it off with homade banana cream pie.

Ate at Meeders with friends on Father's day and had excellent food. The chicken barbecue was great and the other meals were very good with large portions.
I use to love Meeders back in the day! Moved back from TN and took the family there today… It was awful! The service was terrible and food was not good. They were busy but not outrageous, and it still took over an hour and half to get our food.. no refills on our drinks and when we got our bill, i couldnt believe what I saw!!!! The prices were absurd and WAY TO HIGH! What happened to this place?! I will not be returning here in the future!!
The food was very good and portions were large. I got the small spaghetti and there was more than enough for me. The menu had a good number of choices but save room for some homemade pie. I've been looking for good strawberry rhubarb pie and this was the absolute best I've had. Lots of rhubarb and enough strawberry to add some sweetness. And a Mom sized slice!

Large portions. Great, hot food. Wonderful service. Friendly staff. Quaint restaurant and atmosphere. Highly recommended
Another excellent lunch 🙂 had the cabbage/ham soup with the blt. Hit the spot for us 👏
I didn't care for the breading on fish. It was almost like a corn bread batter
we love meeders; everything was delicious!
My husband and I stopped at Meeders. They were steady, but not overly busy. One waitress seated us. Another eventually took our order. A third person brought the food. No one came back to check on us, ask about dessert, or bring a bill. After over 45 minutes of waiting, We had to go up and stand in line to ask for a piece of pie to go and for our bill. So, basically, we were ignored by the staff, no one even seemed to know who our waitress was. Oddly though, They didn’t seem to ignore their relatives and regulars that were seated all around us.
Both my husband and I left upset. I am still angry at myself for actually leaving a tip for whoever. They desperately need a hostess to seat people, fetch to-go pie orders and to check people out in a timely fashion. Maybe then, the wait staff would be freed up to actually service all their customers properly. They’ve been in business a long time, you’d think they’d have this down by now. I guess that when you’re the only restaurant in town, you do what you want.
We will not be returning.
