Staff makes it clear they don’t care. The food runner would bring us our food as if it was bothering him we were there. Another employee told us we shouldn’t be sitting where we were even after he told us to sit wherever we wanted. We sent some family there recently …and the same happened to them. As a bartender and server myself I had let this go…but to hear that the same issue occurred months later to family who we sent there proves that this is a culture at this establishment. Don’t recommend this place to others.

Wanted to go to the vineyards for a while and finally got some time away from the kids to go. There was an employee who worked behind the bar ( black hair/glasses) who was extremely rude to us. Had to make it clear to us that we shouldn’t be sitting where we were when he told us to sit wherever we wanted. He had no reason to even do this. I have never experienced staff who actually showed anger towards their customers. Even Applebees wouldn’t do this ! We told our friends who wanted to go today the same story….the gentleman proved that he hasn’t changed because they came back disappointed.

Rude staff. Bartender told us to sit where we wanted. While we were eating he told us not to sit where we were because it was a larger table. He was annoyed that all the sudden a group decided they wanted to come in and he had to push together two tables. The funny thing is that we left before the group even showed up. We wanted to stay longer and order some drinks but it just ruined our whole experience there. And unfortunately we had already paid everything up front to dine in which didn’t make sense either. The service was nonexistent. Just another rude employee bringing the food to you as if he doesn’t even want you there. The whole restaurant was practically empty when this happened. As someone who works in hospitality myself I would never say something like that to paying customers just out of principle. He was aggressive.

Went earlier today…was told by the bartender with black hair and glasses to sit “ wherever you want” right when we walked in . We sat at a round table ….he watched us do this. Watched us get all of our food be brought to us one by one from appetizers to the entrees. And in the middle of eating it all told us Rudely and disrespectfully “ for the future save this table for larger parties” . Idk why he would tell us to sit wherever we wanted if this was the case. And I don’t get what the attitude was about. Or why he didn’t just say something before all the food was brought out. Why you would say something like that in the first place to a customer baffles my mind. And in the manner he did. For a place that actually has good food…it’s a shame that they have someone like this working there ruining all the customers moods/experience. I didn’t even want to be there anymore but the guy also made us pay up front to “dine in” . I regret even tipping them. Oh and by the way…there was barely anyone even there. I guess it bothered him he had to actually work and push two tables together.

Wow- my first time here and delicious. I went for lunch on a Thursday and had a tender tasteful roast beef horseradish sandwich. We also had the spaghetti squash latkes - very good. I love the atmosphere ! Can’t wait to go back!

Got the Cesar wrap, chicken sandwich, and Mac and cheese, also some ciders, great selection, this place is literally incredible, I’m dreaming about the food again. Atmosphere- 10/10. If I lived closer I would eat here every day, absolutely love and will be back

Tried out Barrow in August after having it on my list forever. Have been back several times. The place is so cute and I love the porch and outdoor seating options. Fries with vegan lemon mayo, charred greens, and vegan bean and mushroom burger are delicious. One of my new favorite spots.
Very beautiful location inside and out , Garlic Macaroni n cheese / and a burger . The macaroni was in some kind of liquid cheese very disappointing, The burger crafted nicely.

Just walked in here on a Tuesday at 1:35pm with a group of 10 4 being children. Had an amazing time patronizing Woodside orchard right up the road - we simply carried in the remainder of our cider looking for a garbage on the way in- we were greeted with the bartender exclaiming to us we can’t bring outside beverages in- to which we just explained we were looking for a garbage which there wasn’t on the way in- instead of offering to discard the one cup he then said “there’s never a reason to bring it in” and continued to speak about us to his drinkers at the bar. To say the least we left. I’m a small business owner and I wouldn’t be caught ever speaking to a patron in that manner unless they were causing a scene at my establishment. Sorry you’re having a bad day brother but don’t ever speak to any patron in that manner especially when you work on tips. I should mention I’m a 40 year old women, respectfully entering, with her children-who wasn’t doing any harm, or causing any issues. Seems a silly reason to miss out on a several hundred dollar tab for a group of 10. Sucks being on the north fork wine trail I get it - but pick and choose your battles !

The food here is incredible. An amazing awareness of flavors and spices. The duck wings and spaghetti squash latkes were big standouts. Really rare to find food this unique outside of the 5 boroughs, let alone out east. Very relaxed and informal atmosphere as well.
