I ordered smoked turkey breast by weight and sweet potato side. I already knew I would like it because we ordered Thanksgiving dinner from here and it was outstanding. I took it home and made some healthy sandwiches. This is an option I prefer over deli meats, it may cost more, but it's worth it!! I love to support small businesses. I also like that the take-out containers are paperboard and I like their short menu, it means they stick to what they know and do it perfectly.

Maple Tree BBQ catered our wedding and they did not disappoint! Dennis, himself, not only worked with us every step of the way but delivered the food himself. Amazing!

Really enjoyed the bbq from this place. The Alabama pulled chicken was really delicious. Grabbed some extra Alabama bbq sauce which only made it even better. Burnt ends were great. Brisket chili was great. Peach sangria was great. Service was great. Only complaint was that they substituted my chili chicken with another order of brisket chili which I had already ordered. I would have preferred notification that they were out if an item rather then a substitution without letting me know. Oh well. Life too short, especially going into a death march weekend.

We catered from Maple Tree BBQ for our recent family reunion BBQ. Dennis, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding and the server they provided was amazing. We fed over 36 adults and children and got to enjoy our party. We highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!

Pleasantly surprised. We pass it all the time and just never went in. The food was excellent, staff friendly, clean, and well-priced. Definitely going back. Sorry it took so long for us to try.

We were heartily greeted by the owner, Dennis O'Leary, in spite of being super busy doing everything behind the front counter. He tends bar, takes orders, chats it up with customers, prepares desserts, takes your $$ & serves up really good, Southern (Alabama?) barbecue; amazing & busy multi-tasking. Know that, as a result, there will be a bit of a wait but it'll be worth your while. The menu is fairly extensive, kind of expensive, but all good. In fact, it appeared to us that local residents come here as much as non-locals. Served directly on a tray, the mac & cheese side dish was thick & cheesy, jalapeno pickles were a perfect complement to our well seasoned, really flavorful 'Bama chicken on Portuguese roll sandwiches, cole slaw was a good additive, as was the corn bread. The mixed drinks Dennis poured (check out the mixed drinks menu in my pictures) looked really refreshing. We would have tried one but we were riding bicycles. Next time...

Came here on a weeknight for some BBQ. It started off a little rough at 6:00pm they were out of, or did not prepare, several items listed on the menu. (Two of which I was interested in) I had the brisket and pork shoulder and both were good. The sides were good to though all portion sizes were very controlled. Their Bourbon drink special may have been my favorite item of the evening! For the food portions v. the price, there is better out there but the food truely wasn't bad at all and I would consider going back.

Maple Tree provides very good, very authentic barbecue, in a number of different styles. I regularly stop by when in the area, usually for take-out, although we ate in the restaurant on our latest stop. The selection of drinks--both soft and alcoholic--is limited, but adequate to match the food. Not too much room inside, particularly in these socially-distanced times, but there is also seating outside, and a very nice public spot across the street, where you can park and eat take-out at a picnic table overlooking the Peconic River--which is what we usually do. Service is friendly and good. The food isn't inexpensive--expect to pay about $10 or a little more for a sandwich--but the quality is good enough that it's worth the price.

I had the slider combo while the lady had a couple tacos [pulled pork and salmon]. As far as bbq, I found the chicken to be non-descript, the burnt ends average. The pork however was very good. As noted, the tacos were very flavorful.

We ate there for the first time today and it was amazing! It far Exceeded our expectations just based off of photos other people have posted on Google. I am originally from Alabama and I have not had barbecue like this in a very long time since being home. The Pulled pork was stellar and even the chicken with the white sauce what is far beyond anything I thought it would be! To be honest this macaroni and cheese taste just like my grandmothers back in Bama. We will for sure be back because of the food but not only the food, but the waitress Alice was so beyond accommodating and kind she made us feel so welcome and taken care of, this restaurant really made A lasting impression and I’m happy we tried it out!

This was one of the best finds we had on our Hampton excursion. The Meat, the sides, the sangria!!! The food is amazing and service was great as well! I highly recommend this BBQ Gem!!

We stopped in at Maple Tree for some down home smoked BBQ. The ribs were delicious and falling off the bone. The outdoor patio was well lit and comfortable for evening outdoor dining.

This place has both indoor and outdoor seating, with outdoor seating found in the back, as well as in the front (across the street by the lake). If it’s a nice day outside, it’s probably better to take your food and sit in the outdoor seating across the street. The outdoor seating in the back of the restaurant has a minor bee issue. While we were there, there were at least 1-2 bees near us or on our food. Another person that sat about 3 tables from us got stung on his finger. It’s a nuisance while trying to enjoy your food. Lastly, I’m not sure why but this place doesn’t have fries... how does a BBQ restaurant not have regular fries?

Ribs were fall off the bone delicious and the smokemaster was so sweet and friendly. Even though they were closing he turned on the string lights outside so the kids could run around. Smashed potatoes and Mac n cheese were amazing after a long day at the beach. So glad we found this lovely restaurant. We got the family pack, the brownies also did not disappoint! The brisket and wings were a little dry but ribs and pastrami were smoky and delicious.

I had dinner here with a group of five yesterday. This place is a winner! Luckily we arrived before 6 pm, because it was full after 6:00. I had the 2 Meat Combo with 2 small sides. The brisket was super tender and the pastrami was delicious. Neither came slathered with BBQ sauce, and IMHO, no sauce was really needed. The cole slaw and mac & cheese were both very good. Portions were generous. Everyone enjoyed their food especially the brisket. The guy who took our orders was very friendly and helpful, as was our server. This is the type of place with a roll of paper towels on the table. We definitely recommend this place.
