Don't be fooled; this place is so much more than the best pizzeria in Riverhead! The lunch and dinner entrees are prepared to perfection! The fish and seafood is always the freshest! The wine selection is also quite good! The counter servers and the waitstaff are all epic!! They are friendly and efficient!! Eating in the dining room is a pleasure! Gabriella has created a casual and relaxed atmosphere and it feels like we are family!

The lady and gent who frequently work behind the register when I get there 15 mins before close (sorry!!) are some of the nicest people ever. They've been a godsend when I'm hangry, tired, and leaving work 3 hours later than intended. My go-to items aren't anything fancy, just standard fare; the five stars are for their reliability in pulling off those items perfectly every. single. time. It's a smaller space, sure, but that just means you can get to know your neighbors a little better as they also pick up their orders. 5 stars for me means don't change a thing, you're perfect. I'll never stop ordering your eggplant parm on hero and when I'm feeling wild enough, I know throwing on a grandma slice and Diet Coke will tip me into a delightful, delicious food coma. Really nasty I got chicken cutlets for me and my family also chicken fingers/ fries for my kids & it was not worth what I spent… the chicken was super chewy, it should’ve been cooked longer. ??? Disgusting and my kids chicken tenders and fries ? like how do you mess up that? I usually don’t write reviews but this needed a review!!! I was so mad about the amount of money spent on trash food

Caruso's is by the TJ Max strip and offers fast, reliable grab and go take out. Sit down tables are there. People were professional and pleasant. Food was fresh and store was busy. Reliable, good and flavorful.

There are lots and lots of pizza places around here and most of them are good to great. That said, when I want to just get a good plain slice, Caruso's is the best. The sauce is tangy and there is just a great balance between sauce and cheese. Crust is thin but not too thin and it's cooked just enough to be a little doughy but strong enough to hold all the goodness. Yummy.
this place is an absolute Homerun! My family and I have been there many many many times; it's our favorite pizza place! definitely try the homemade chicken roll, it's out of this world!

A life saver! We were tired after kayaking and HUNGRY on our way to our campsite. We googled several other places and was even on our way to another pizzeria when I read the reviews for Caruso’s. I felt confident about their pizza and boy was my hunch right! They did not disappoint, in fact they came all the way through with authentic NYC pizza. From the sauce to the cheese to the crust, this is a pizza you can trust! We ordered a pie and ate it with smiles on our faces.

Riverhead, NY is a 42 mile drive from our home. We rarely visit the area unless we're venturing to the North Fork or spending time at the aquarium. I visited Caruso's two years ago after a doctor's appointment. In my book, it was great! Being 60 miles outside of NYC, Caruso's makes close to an authentic NYC pizza. I was so hungry, I ordered three slices. Sausage, mushroom, and vegetable slices. All three were delicious! The undercarriage on all of them was firm and crisp. I've eaten many, many slices of pizza, I can tell where to get the top notch slices. The place was immaculately clean and the staff was very outgoing. I wholeheartedly recommend Caruso's. If you are doing any special activity on the North Fork, stop in for a meal and see for yourself.
