Chipotle Mexican Grill

I am writing to formally report serious issues at your restaurant located at:

1501 Old Country Rd

Riverhead, NY 11901

During my visit, I observed unsanitary conditions, unprofessional staff behavior, and multiple food availability failures. The dining room was also in unacceptable condition. Food all over the tables, garbage on the floor.

We attempted to order chicken tacos and a bowl but we were informed that chicken, cheese and both options of brown rice were unavailable. When my son attempted to order a kids’ taco, he was rushed and treated rudely by an employee. When asked if we want lettuce the employee just threw a handful of lettuce at the food and most fell on the counter and floor

At checkout, we were told small chips were unavailable and were required to purchase adult-sized chips. A request to be charged appropriately, given the limited availability, was denied. We asked for the chicken price and were denied.

This experience was unacceptable and reflects poor cleanliness standards, inadequate customer service, and lack of operational readiness. I expect this matter to be reviewed and addressed promptly.

I order from here probably once or twice a month and always receive a decent sized portion. Today on 12/17/25, late in the evening, the 3 bowls I received were barely full. This is what “extra beans” looks like and two of the bowls are missing things we ordered. I won’t be returning for a while, not worth it for the price you’re paying. You’re better off making it at home.

Fast courteous service and the food was good. No issues here, a solid Chipotle

I got one chicken bowl with extra protein. Rice was super salty and if you dont like the fat, you should separete the fat from chicken. I paid $18 for this food.I could not finish. So it was bad experience. Personal was nice but food is not.

They gave me a bowl half full and looks half eaten, I always go here and it’s usually okay but today they really disappointed me

In what can only be the perfect set up for a television prank, chipotle will only allow you to order an adult quesadilla online. Thus, you can be in the restaurant and they will make it in the restaurant, but you cannot order it while you are in the restaurant directly through an employee. This appears to be the only menu item, that cannot be ordered directly through a person in the restaurant.

We went in as a family of four, seeking two adult quesadillas and other dishes, but were unable to order the quesadilla because we did not have our phones on us. We spoke to the manager, and they said “that’s how chipotle works.” I responded, that’s how “chipotle doesn’t work.”

The 26th of this month I found burnt food that tasted awful, I went back to tell the supervisor the next night on the 27th about it, and he was being unprofessional, and than the young lady that was their serving the food was being rude, and giving me a bad attitude. This happend last night.

Extremely dirty environment. The workers serving the food don’t wear hair nets and I found a long strand of black hair in my to-go burrito bowl. The countertops are filthy and there’s no forks sometimes. The workers give the dirtiest looks for simply asking a question and/or when ordering two bowls. This is unfortunate because I’ve had good experiences at other chipotle locations.

Paid 20 dollars for a bowl that had extremely hard undercooked rice. Super disappointed

Stopped by to grab a pick up order. Got a notification from the app that the food was ready and on the shelf. When I got it, it wasn't ready yet. My burrito was put together in a hurry and almost instantly fell apart when I opened the foil.
