Pleasant experience. Server sweet and helpful. Food good. Enjoyed the fig, goat cheese and arugula sandwich. On the sweet side but tasty. Parking easy.
The table was shaky There was no desserts at the end of the meal, only vanilla ice cream and chocolate ice cream Overpriced this is not the Hamptons. This is Riverhead, New York. Scallops were 60 dollars Salmon was undercooked
The food here is exquisite, and the waitresses are very kind and helpful. The prices are a little on the high side; however, the price is definitely worth the meal. I recommend using this restaurant for small immediate family outings, a small friends outing, or a date night. My favorite dishes were the doho trio with French onion soup as a starter, and the doho burger.

Very short staffed. Waited forever for drink order , never had server offer coffee/dessert. Someone never got his ice tea. You need to hire more ppl for a Friday night.
Delicious! We've been here multiple times and I'm fairly sure this is the best it's ever been. Can't wait to come back.
Came in ,place was empty...we had 9 people...the lady behind the bar said she has no seats.i said split us up 5/4 two different tables. Mind you again place was empty ..she said as long as one of albe sits at a high table .I said no problem...then She said no room after all that ...I said stop playing mind games ...I'll never ever go back ...staff cannot handle a empty place ...with nine people coming in...they should be all fired ...we met the owners a long time ago...they where very nice .. but horrible staff...I can completely understand if place was full...with 9 I get it ...but again empty.... empty empty empty....don't go
The food was delicious, as always! I just love that the menu is gluten free without sacrificing any flavor! It's rare that you can get gf crab cakes and calamari. They were amazing. The waiter was great too.
Restaurant is no where near as good as it was . Prices are NYC prices , quality’s declined and staff need training . Been going there for gluten free since 2004. Sad to see it go down . Prior manager Ross left few years back and it just a different place now. I’m done there.
Chicken burger was inedible. Fries were barely edible. Cole slaw looked like it came from a 5 gallon pail. Dijon mustard was French’s. You can find another place to eat.

Greeter and server were both rude and made us uncomfortable. After that the atmosphere, food, etc., nothing else mattered. Couldn't wait to leave.

I had a reservation the restaurant was empty at 6:39pm. I had Filet mignon it was overpriced and not so tender. It was seasoned with a garlic butter but I needed to add salt. The carrots , string beans and mashed potatoes were tasty.
This was our second time eating at Dark Horse, and both times we really enjoyed both the food and the friendly service. This place is a local gem!
Our first time to Dark Horse. Service was wonderful, food delicious, portions size spot on! We will definitely be returning.

GLUTEN FREE PATRONS BEWARE. My husband got poisoned here. He and I ordered a gluten free sandwich, and the waiter made an error, and he ate a sandwich containing gluten. Please be careful for your health. Avoid this place.
Lunch was good, room was empty for a Friday lunch. Duck wrap was good, potato planks were great. Views of main street were not great.
