We went here last year and were very pleasantly surprised. Just went back before we saw s show at the Suffolk theater. Again it was delicious. Gluten free options galore! Drinks were yummy as well. Our server Laura was so nice and helpful. Go to this restaurant!!
The staff was very helpful, we have one person with celiac and they were more than accommodating. Each item was beautifully prepared, hot and delicious! Will definitely return next time I'm in the neighborhood.
I highly recommend Dark Horse! Had the Merlot Braised Beef and just delicious. Soups were really good too. If this place was located in the Hamptons or the North Fork, you wouldn't be able to get a reservation at this place. It's that good! But in Riverhead, should be an easy get. Go!
