We started at Riverhead cider House. They told us we couldn't bring our two small dogs in so we went to our go to Jamesport Farm brewery. We were there for a few minutes when we encountered an amazing employee named Carin. She found us a seat and made sure That we had everything we needed for our dogs. She got us a water bowl and anytime we were running low, she asked us if we needed more drinks. Even though we weren't VIP, she treated us like ones. She is an example of what all employees should be!! Even though have been to Jamesport many times before we have never encountered the VIP treatment without being VIPs. She has made us look forward to coming back instead of making it our second choice. Way to go Carin!!

Came here for their Oktoberfest festival and it was amazing! They had so many vendors available with different types of food! They also had many different types of beers which were delicious! For the festival, they had activities planned and folks were able to participate which made the visit more rewarding! It def got packed so I would recommend arriving early and cater for traffic getting in and out! Staff were friendly as expected and atmosphere was amazing!

If you have food allergies or dietary issues that require you to bring your own food so not be poisoned by their food trucks don't come here ever if you care about your friends or family. The mafia at the gate were extremely rude and dismissive of our health upon entry even though many of our party were still going to eat there.
Thanks for the response and spying us the entire day and invading the privacy of our party. We stayed all day out of spite just to have your goons continually walk by our table and stare us down.

Visited Jamesport yesterday with a reserved bus and area from 1:30PM - 3:30PM ($400 to reserve the area.) Man, will I never do that again.
My party showed up and they happily accepted my money and my friends. We took care of their staff and was told we were “welcome to move around the tasting room grounds as they like.” This was not the full case. While we were allowed to leave the VIP area we paid for, they would not permit us to purchase drinks outside the VIP area.
After our timeslot was up at 3:30, we had planned to move into the general public area but Jamesport had other plans for us and asked us to leave completely because they claimed our bus could not stay on premise. They could not get their stories straight. They then claimed they had to ask us to leave due to a situation due to excessive intoxication. We had a guest who got sick on spot and we immediately sent them back to our bus and continued on with the rest of our afternoon. No scenes were caused. Ashley, the tasting room manager and reservation coordinator was at first very accommodating and welcoming and accepting of our money until it was good for her. She told us to “find a brewery that suits our needs.” We did that exactly and went elsewhere with more respect than we received from Jamesport Brewery staff. When I was expressing my frustration at the next place, the bartender stated that the same thing happened to another group a separate time apart from ours. Beware of this scam they are running if you are driving a distance to visit with a large group. We will not be returning!

we had a party bus that came to this location. the staff was truly amazing, however, Ashley was horrendous. we had one person in our party that was a little too intoxicated, we made him sit on our bus and he or we never fought and or caused a scene. he just had to stay on the bus per them and we all agreed.
they told us that we could stay after our reserved time, as long as it was in the general area.
if it was such a problem to have a drunk person there, who keep in mind never went against any of the staffs requests, wouldnt they have kicked us out when we first showed up? instead of 2 hours later?
No, they wanted us to lay the $400 to be there for shitty management.

Showed up with a VIP group. Would only serve through one bartender for all 50 of us. Even though they told us we were okay to stay, we were forced to leave without legitimate reason. Ashley was unfriendly and not accommodating. Would never return.

Came with a party bus for VIP from 1 - 3. Asked prior if we could hang with General public after 3 they said of course. When we got there we were kicked out at 3 because our bus couldn’t be on the lot after 3. They weren’t accommodating. We spoke to Ashley, and she said “ I’m not doing confrontation, it’s best we leave right now”. Find another brewery there are ton around the area.

They charge a cover just to get in. Caters to the Westies and city freaks. Not local friendly. Go to long Ireland or literally anywhere else.

No babies, newborns, toddlers, children etc allowed Saturday or Sunday. You have to be 21+. This completely ruined my plans and many others who tried to attend to see live music Saturday at 1pm. The place was not packed at all. They should really rethink all of these strict rules if they want to make any money. Breweries should be family friendly during the day. Dogs allowed in but not babies ?

Rented the VIP room today to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday and we had a great time. Staff was so great, friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
I’ve visited in the past and always great music, love the food truck, and love the flight & a pint!!! So much space. Lots of covered tables.
Definitely recommend!!
Great time, singing with the band"Just Friends". JFB does an excellent job each time I've been there. Very welcoming to everyone including families, dogs etc.

... there is no reason to charge $10 cover... plenty of other places on east end, including a brewery down the road that imo is better, that doesn't charge $10 cover.
