I love Jamesport brewery, but I was highly disappointed when I had to leave a birthday gift in the front because it was alcohol and it disappeared when I went to get it. I left my contact info and never heard about it again?

The amount of dogs they allow with food and beverages is ridiculous and some of the doors are barking and growling. Not enjoyable at all. Dogs even on tables

Came here Saturday and had to pay $5 to get in (cash only). Apparently it's 21 yrs of age and older only, on Saturdays and Sundays. I don't think farm breweries should be charging a cover charge at the door. While it's a nice establishment all around, the cover charge killed my buzz so to speak.

Always heard greats things about this place. Finally came and was extremely disappointed! Food truck food was absolutely TERRIBLE! And I know some of you are thinking duh, it’s a food truck! No, nowadays I’ve had my best meals at food trucks and considering this is the only food offered, for way over inflated prices as is, unacceptable…Beer wasn’t terrible but can’t believe the prices for quality!

I saw a lot of negative reviews for this place and almost kept me away, went out to see "The Almost Brothers Band" on a Sunday Afternoon with a buddy of mine who was interested in seeing them as well. Great band. Overall the vibe was very chill except for this quartet of rude bald cigar chomping' douche bags going around blowing stinky cigar smoke in every direction. I noticed there was a "smoking section" and security didn't seem to notice these clowns weren't in it! Ugh! Beer was good, bartenders were outstanding! Band sounded great! Two thumbs up! Thanks

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. My wife and I visited today Sunday sept 10th which was a dreary slow Sunday that turned to torrential down pouring rain. Upon driving in the parking lot a nice parking attendant pointed us where to park; then we proceeded to walk towards the brewery which we were surprised to see security whom asked for a $5 cover per person which perplexed us. He said it was because of the live band whom was playing outdoors at least 50 yards away from the indoor brewery which we originally planned to stop by for only one drink. We had visited numerous other wineries and breweries all of which had live music and had no cover charge. I guess jamesport farmBrewery can't get a big enough crowd to entice bands to play there or they're hurting for money. So we had told them if that's the case we would grab a 4 pack of pumpkin to go then. So we got inside at 1:55 pm and by 1:57 pm it began torrential raining to the point where all the staff came running inside because they were absolutely drenched to the point they had to remove their shirts and put on new. So I had told the bar tender that we were only going to grab a 4pack to go since we didn't pay the cover but we can't possibly make it back to our car now because of the hazardous conditions outside, that we would first grab a drink while we wait the storm out and then grab the beer to go; which she agreed was the smart decision. So we ordered 1 pumpkin and 1 rose both of which were subpar at best. We were about halfway done with our drinks and by 2:20 pm ( 23 minutes) later asked to leave because we had not paid the "cover charge" for the band that was 50 yards away from us and we were not listening to. Security whom himself didn't want to make the trek outside in the torrential rain was very unprofessional and walked us out as if we snuck into the Taylor Swift eras tour concert and evaded a $1000 concert ticket. Bottom line don't come here unless you want to have bad beer and treated poorly by the staff. Head down the road to greenport brewery in peconic or anywhere else for that matter. After looking at other reviews on here it's clear this establishment is not what it has to be.

Went on a gorgeous Sunday with my family and another. They advertised an event for all ages. They charged $5 per person to enter even a 1 year old!!!! The $5 didn't even get you anything, just entry. They wouldn't allow us to bring in water or snacks we had for the kids. The first thing that was said to us was to keep your kids with you at all times. They had a bunch of cornhole setup and we were told you have to bring your own bags or you can buy some inside. The beer was just okay. I asked the bartender about a particular beer and she didn't really know about it. For a place that's advertising all ages it seemed as if bringing kids to this place was frowned upon. I really do hope the owners read this. I frequent many breweries on Long Island and never experienced a place like this. Never had to pay entry to a brewery and almost all are family friendly.

Always enjoy my time at Jamesport brewery!! Always a relaxed feel people are friendly and the bartenders always willing to talk about what beer to try. I enjoy the live music and people and dogs hanging out no one bothers anyone. There is a 5$ cover which is not a big deal considering live music all day. The food truck is good basic bar food. Always enjoy the day highly recommend it

I have mixed feelings about this place. On the plus side, the staff was friendly, the beer was good, and the outdoor space was nice. On the other side, some of their policies left us with a really bad taste in our mouths. We’ve been to countless breweries all over and have never had our bag searched at entry for food and been asked to empty our water bottle. We were there on a Monday after work. It was very quiet and there was no food for sale. Why not allow people to bring snacks? Snacking is part of the beer drinking experience! How are you supposed to keep drinking beers without something salty? And it’s too bad they can’t trust customers with water bottles to actually have water in them. I have to imagine they had some bad experiences but still… Going through that experience, especially on a Monday that was not crowded at all, was very off putting. There were also signs everywhere telling you what not to do (no sitting here, no moving the tables, no alcohol in the parking lot). All understandable but it’s a lot of negative signs. Again - just a little off putting and overall not the vibe we’re looking for at a brewery. I’ll end by saying beer is good! Just don’t bring food or water or anything you may want to accompany your beer!

A few weeks back I decided to go to a nice, well respected brewery called "Jamesport farm brewery" upon arrival I heard the music and saw the beautiful atmosphere which made me excited to enter, however I was stopped by the beer brute. She said I had to be a $5 cover charge, like I'm 16 years old going into a night club. I told her that it was stupid but she insisted. I eventually decided to leave because paying $5 on top of the copious amounts of beer I'm going to drink just isn't worth it. I went to a different brewery and got totally trashed without having to pay a stupid "cover charge" TERRIBLE PLACE MELISSA

A nice time for adults and dogs. Kid free on weekends. Cover charge is reasonable. Unfortunately they have some strange rule about plastic cups. For those of you who do not enjoy beer they do have non alcoholic options but be prepared to drink right out of the coke can or tea bottle. Many times I’ve been denied a normal cup with ice. Wanting to pour my iced tea into some ice but the staff insist on being difficult and will not give me a cup of ice. I know it seems like a small thing but I like my drinks cold. Figure out a better system Jamesport Farm Brewery. Give me a large cup with ice. Not a 3 oz water cup. This clearly annoyed me enough to mention it in the review.

We love visiting Jamesport Farm Brewery any chance we get. It's dog friendly, and they have a wide selection of delicious beers. The food trucks that they have is always outstanding. It's a lively atmosphere with live bands and fun activities to do. Highly recommended!

Absolutely love this brewery! The beer is delicious, their staff is amazing, and they're dog friendly!! The staff made my dogs feel so welcomed, and they even took their picture to put on their wall! 5 stars!
