it’s very disappointing to say because this is a black owned but if your black i wouldn’t bother coming and spending your money. The owners DO NOT want african americans there and it is confirmed by employees. It shows the way they ignore you but cater to spanish customers. Also drinks would be added to my tab that also were never brought to me.

My husband and I had dinner at Mambo last night! Jim loved the fajitas and my steak was excellent. You were also so very accommodating with Jim’s guide dog. We can’t wait to come back.

The food is good and the staff is very friendly. However the music/DJ is pretty bad, there is absolutely no variety. Only one type of music. The hookah takes forever for $45 and the tips don’t fit. It’s fun when you have nothing to do and want to stay in Riverhead…

Some of food good, but some not good.

I can’t even begin to explain how delicious this place is!! Me and a few friends came here tonight to try it out and Mambo did not disappoint. We had the mussels, arroz con pollo, fajitas, and grilled chicken with the mushroom sauce. Their portion size is big and we all had extra to bring home. The atmosphere is energetic especially with the music playing. Our waitress was so awesome and super friendly, Vanessa. We will definitely be back again and I think we may have found a new regular spot in Riverhead!
