Very loud especially as the day went on and people brought toddlers to run amok. Didn't know wineries were kid friendly.
I visited RGNY last Sunday with a group of friends. We’d been here last fall and loved the outdoor vibe, so we thought it’d be a great place to end our day of wine tasting. We even called ahead around 4:00 PM to confirm they’d still allow walk-ins with our dogs, as we knew they closed at 5:00 PM. The person who answered assured us it’d be fine, so we headed over.
When we arrived around 4ish PM, the hostess let us know it was last call, so we’d only have time for one drink, which was totally understandable. However, when we sat down, things took an unfortunate turn.
The waitress came over almost immediately, didn’t offer a menu, and rather bluntly told us, “It’ll be last call. You can get one drink each, and we’re closing in 15 minutes.” Her tone was far from welcoming. We hadn’t even had a chance to sit comfortably or look at a menu. When we asked for one, her response was sharp and dismissive.
One of my friends suggested we order a bottle of wine for the table (since we had six people), thinking it would be a quick solution. But the waitress immediately snapped, “No bottle, no sit. You can only get a glass,” which was shocking. The way she spoke to us was disrespectful, almost as if she assumed we didn’t know any better or weren’t worth the time. This left us feeling uncomfortable, especially because we were a diverse group, and her attitude felt borderline discriminatory.
We ended up ordering two bottles of random wine she just gave us since one wouldn’t pour enough for all six of us, and, frankly, we didn’t feel like dealing with the attitude any longer. We still tipped generously because we respect hard-working staff, but it was disappointing to be treated this way.
Food, service and the wine were all amazing! Get the white Merlot! Something not everyone has and it’s amazing. Beautiful venue as well fun and easy to hang out with dogs on the patio.
RG|NY Vineyard offers an absolutely breathtaking experience! The picturesque backdrop of lush vineyards and graceful horses creates a serene and stunning atmosphere, picture perfect for our wedding day. What truly enhances the experience is the incredible staff—Erin, Tiffany, and Natalie are all equally fantastic. Their warmth and attentiveness make you feel as though they’re like family, which makes the entire experience even more memorable.
I celebrated my 25th birthday here, and we had a fantastic time! The service was great, and everything was perfect. Highly recommend!
Excellent place to hold a wedding and reception!
Went for a wedding and the attention to detail was amazing. It was absolutely stunning. Staff was extremely helpful. A beautiful place to spend a day.
Amazing winery! This winery was so spacious and offered so much open space to wine and dine! The staff were super friendly and accommodating to our needs! Recommend making a reservation in advance as it can get pretty pack! We did a wine tasting and it was delicious! They also allowed you to walk through the vineyard and has corn hole! Will definitely be back!
Rude Staff, can’t handle much business unless you self serve. many empty seats and table but staff is so disorganized and overwhelmed they can’t seat folks in the many empty seats. The indoor bar is empty but yet can’t serve if you’re not taken in by hostesses who have no idea what’s going on. This place is only worth with outside self service.
Wine isn’t very good

Elegant & modern vineyard with a tasting room. Simple appearance from exterior but inside speaks volumes of intricacy.
We sampled the reserve flight for $34 per person plus a RG MX cheese platter for $37. ??
The flight came with 2 whites & 2 reds. Both were well received by our group.
The venue is spacious & comfortable. Easily accommodate groups of 200-300 people.
A great winery on the North Fork of Long Island. Great spacing, great architecture, great Mexican food and most importantly, great wine! I had the White Merlot! Delicious. The Guacamole is fresh and amazing. The grounds are impeccable and endless. The staff was helpful and ready to serve. This place stands above others in the area for sure. I highly recommend. Tell em Barsnobs sent ya!
Such a great experience ! The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. Kaila and Mads went above and beyond to make us feel like VIPs through out the whole day. Plus, the guacamole was out of this world. I can't wait to go back !
Delicious wines and our server Aiden was the best . Very friendly and informative :-)
We attended with a group of 5 people for a birthday. We tried to sit outside and the hostess offered to move a chair for us being that the tables only had 4. The manager who I’m assuming came over and told us we couldn’t sit there and moved us to the picnic tables without waiters but said someone would be over to serve us. After waiting for 15 minutes, we had to go to the small outdoor bar and ask to be served - he informed us that we have to order there and there were no servers for our section.. After the bees were an issue outside, we went inside. The hostess seemed very stressed and said sit wherever you’d like, we will send someone over. A lady ( who we assumed was a busser ) came over and gave us water. I went up to the small bar and tried to order a drink because I thought that was the protocol inside. The girl behind the bar told me someone at the table would be able to assist me - no problem. OUR WAITRESS then came over to us extremely aggressively and said that she was there already giving us water and now she is going to get in trouble that we asked for assistance at the bar. Meanwhile, no one was trying to get anyone in trouble. After we ordered, the waitress went behind the bar and was talking with other workers about us, looking in our direction. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE EXPERIENCE. I have never had an experience like this at any wineries out east. We went to Macari Vineyards after and we had the best experience and very warm bartenders.
