It was a rainy day and I needed something hot to drink so I ordered a coffee which came warm at best. My husband ordered a steak medium and it came well done instead. My roasted peppers soup was ok but not really flavorful. I’m disappointed with this place but I’m still giving 3 stars because the putine and the pumpkin martini were good. All in all, would not recommend.

I was in the area when driving by and saw that they had live music that evening. Very nice music experience. 🦋 our server John was very pleasant and informative. 🦋 espresso martini was good 🦋 roasted red pepper soup was the highlight for me ! Such an incredible soup with so much flavor! Delicious! Highly recommend! 🦋 I got the grilled ahi tuna- it was too raw for me, so the server heated it up for me some more, and then it tasted better. But not my favorite dish. 🦋 penne pasta with chicken was alright, it needed more flavor for out palette 🦋 on Wednesdays they have happy hour for first responders! Love that!

Had my rehearsal dinner here and it was absolutely amazing! The entire staff and manager were very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. We had the event in the wine cellar downstairs and it was a beautiful room!

It was way to overpriced and they barely gave you any food. They said there would be live music and all there was none.
Great dining option in Riverhead. Something for everyone on the menu, and everything was delicious, especially the meatloaf! Great cocktails. Service is very friendly but it did take awhile for the food to come out of the kitchen, and I'm talking about soup which certainly isn't made to order.

This is the second or third restaurant inside the Preston House Hotel. The place has great seating, everything seems to be decently clean but the food in this version of the hotel restaurant was seriously disgusting. We ordered the classic poutine, what we got was some french fries with tasteless gravy and melted tasteless cheese. Come on guys, there is obviously no chef or you have never been to Montreal, or you just saw something on social media and decided to name it poutine. What was served was just plain insult to the notion of poutine. As an entree I got what was advertised as a smash burger. Firstly, the burger was tasteless, smelled like it was on its way to the garbage but the best part was it was not even near a smash burger, just a burger that they sliced in two and put on a bun. Wow!! Our waitress was very nice and she gave great service. What a shame, could have a been a place to go to but I guess they decided to put food as an afterthought. Get a chef or someone that could cook.
