My partner and I visited Friday April 5, 2024 at 5pm and it was amazing. Very quiet (a couple tables), exceptional service, and wonderful jazz tunes playing on the speakers. The wine was delicious and worth what you pay.

We enjoyed our winter visit to Palmer Vineyards. We had our puppy with us and they welcomed her with open arms. The wines were tasty and we enjoyed a delicious charcuterie board. It has a nice rustic ambiance that we all enjoyed. The service was great and the servers were friendly and helpful.

One thing we have loved about Palmer is that they stay open later compared to other vineyards on the island. Tonight, even though we checked their hours before arriving, they were closing before 7pm. The claim was they had changed to seasonal hours! But last "season" the hours were the same? Open until 9pm!Incredibly disappointed! So now a different winery is getting our business.

I'm cleaning up my pix on iPhone - the photos were taken on Nov 18, 2021:Time has changed: 30 some years ago when my friend would stuck out her tongue “turning red …” when I mentioned LI vineyards. Wine tasting was free. 20 years ago, many vineyards have renovated and they charged a fee for tasting (flats… and discount if you buy after tasting …) About a decade ago the low cut/high hem girls arrived in doves in limos, signaling the arrival of Long Island vineyards. ... not yet Napa ...We haven’t been back in couple of years and today we see “no outside food” sign. Roanoke Vineyards even requires you to become a member to taste their wines (seriously?!? Hell NO!)Good for them if they could forgo the bring-your-own-food concession. Some vineyards we went were outrageous that many patrons even brought rolling coolers, that made the tasting rooms/tents noisy, messy and very annoying. Now with the table service, it seems no more tasting (wish they keep the tasting menu tho, with different flats …), straight per glass basis. But over all I’m glad they’ve prospered. Aside, churning out decent wines. There is distance to catch up with Napa but east coast always does things differently than the West. Who knows. The hit and run party scenes may be the only way that make the vineyards survive. On this note, I’d say go Long Island vineyard and go Long Island wines.

We had our daughters wedding there and it was gorgeous ! The wine is spectacular and I can’t say enough about Patrick Cereola (manager) who went above and beyond for us! Thank you from the bottom of our heart!

Don't say you're dog friendly if you're not actually dog friendly... We were asked to leave because our dogs were barking. Our server was very nice and the sparkling rose was delicious but we probably won't return.

What made my experience a 5/5 was my waitress, Alex. She was super attentive, outgoing, and funny. She made me and my group of friends feel welcome and gave us great recommendations! The vineyard is lucky to have her!
