New owners and what a great experience.....Had a local Puffer fish special dish on a beautiful slow Monday outdoors
Soups were great ,super friendly staff and will be back for sure which is the best compliment I can give
Keylime pie was worth feeling extra fat on the way home for sure ...dont miss the place

The new owner is amazing!! The food was phenominal!! The ribeye was the best I've had anywhere including Tellers and Ruth Christ!!! The place was completely renovated with a really nice ambionce!! I highly recommend a try!! Get the Ribeye you will not be dissapointed!!

Really nice location with indoor, outdoor, and porch seating. The food is very good. I always get the puffers which are amazing. The clams and other fish dishes are great too. And the fries are also great.

Came in with my family. Nice place, similar to Bistro and Lobster Roll before that. But being of Greek decent, pulling into a place called Pete’s Taverna (my name is Pete) and with a Greek flag out front, I’m expecting a new Greek taverna style restaurant on the North Fork. Well that certainly wasn’t the case. It’s as if I was in the mood for Italian and pulled into a place called Gino’s and the menu was comprised of Chinese food. Somewhat confusing but wish the new ownership all the best.
As a point of information, a taverna is by definition a Greek casual eatery.

Perfection! Freshness and creativity are on the menu at Pete's Taverna! Absolute musts are the Puffers and Lobster BLT Roll along with the tastiest fresh oysters and shrimp cocktail you will find on Long Island! For dessert, the Rainbow Cake and ice cream with a double espresso, served with a rock candy stick and lemon twist, are the perfect final touch!

The food was amazing! I recommend the tuna sandwich.. omg is so Tasty!! The staff are very friendly

Very beautiful place with lots of potential! Our server only came once to take drink order and once after to take our dinner order. Server never came to offer refills or ask us how our food came out. The place was busier than expected. The atmosphere was OK, the music was a little loud so it sounded like everyone was screaming at each other. LOL. Anyways, the food was just OK as well. I would give this place another try and maybe try different items on menu.

We stopped in this past weekend for some oysters, shrimp cocktail, and a piece of italian rainbow birthday cake. It was all incredible! The service was fantastic, the deck out back is just beautiful, and the food was also great! We will definitely be back when in the area. Thank you!

Just had 2 lobster rolls and some drinks. It was excellent all around.
