the portobello panini (with added avocado) was delicious and sizable! However, It comes with cheese so make sure you ask for one without it. I had it remade and felt bad that I didn't ask. I'm glad to see another little vegan friendly cafe in the area! Will try the coffee next time.

Visited today a Saturday in (January). It was quiet. We were pleasantly surprised by how fresh and yummy the paninis are! We also ordered a 4 season smoothie which was yummy. I think this place would be super cute outside on warmer day. Friendly service. We will visit again! Love it.

Great açaí bowls and salad wraps, warm and welcoming morning vibes. Love this spot.

Food is WAY overpriced. I don’t get the good reviews tbh. A small panini was 13.75 before tax (see picture). Given its size, inflation would definitely not justify it. Also, their menu does not show prices, so surprisal was mine when I got the bill and paid. Panini tasted good but not exceptional & coffee was only average, I’d say. They do have wifi and parking.

Way too overpriced.$35 for 3 items. (Drink, panini, & brownie)Latin fire chicken was raw and the panini had 1 slice of avocado. Not worth it

Very disappointed! I asked for a gluten free panini and a soup. Starving at work. Now I'm here back at work and I took a bite and realized, that's not gluten free bread! When I called they said I never asked for gluten free, but I absolutely did. I even spent a few minutes asking about the soup to make sure there were no noodles and it was gluten free. Why would I make sure the soup is gluten free and then order a regular panini? Makes no sense Now I'm back at work and I'm still hungry ?

Love this place! It's quiet and peaceful and has the best whole wheat croissants. I come often and love sitting outside at the picnic tables.

The best Americano! I’m a foodie with high expectations and this place measures up. It’s more than just a coffee and tea house. Their omelets, French toast, salads, sandwiches, along with their home baked pastries and muffins make this place a hidden gem!!Ps. The açaí bowl is the best in the area.

*Review editThe place is now being run under New ownership and the quality of everything, down to its bread and coffee, has been compromised. The place still has its previous organic branding around but there’s nothing remotely organic in their kitchen.

I stopped in and had no idea they were under new ownership. All of the great bakery items that the former owner used to make are no longer available for obvious reasons. The tea selection has dwindled. It is slowly transitioning to a bodega. There are so many awesome bodegas in Riverhead that there really is not a need for another. The original owners, and what they offered to the neighborhood were a niche. There's no longer a peaceful vibe when you walk in.

Was so excited to try this spot after moving back to the island. I was really disappointed when I paid $10 for a medium smoothie and it tasted mainly like ice. I won’t be back

Although I like the place in general because I support the different Cuisines and ideas the price was fairly high for what I got and the basic bacon egg and cheese on a bagel was marginal. I have had different eclectic juices before and the one I chose was probably wrong because the cilantro was overpowering so I'm not sure if I can judge that as bad or just not my taste. The atmosphere is super cute and quaint and it looks like they have some good Spanish foods and drinks. I probably just picked the wrong things. I would say check it out and make your decision for yourself but it is worth checking out if you're in the area.

The authentic coffeehouse I once knew and loved to visit is now vastly different. New owners turned it into something it should have never become. The charm of Sarikopa is gone.
