Showed up in person on a Sunday night 40 minutes before they closed and placed an order for 15 people. My order was taken, cooked, prepped, bagged and checked out all by a single young man named Alessandro. Not only did Alessandro do everything from start to finish alone (with 3 other employees there) he did it with great customer service. As late and tired as he was he maintained his composure without a single face or complaint on any extra request I had (I.e. no white sauce or sauce on the side). Alessandro is an example of how all employees should be and Shah’s should be honored to have this young man on their staff!

P.S. I told him I got 15 drinks from the cooler and he respectfully asked to count them. Great job treating the business like it is your own Alessandro!

We ordered food worth $65 and when we ask for sauce they say u have to pay for it isn’t some shit even the food wasn’t good at all kids didn’t even eat the food I will never go there again that was worse experience ever

I typically go to this specific location once a month or so on lunch break, but I've eaten at various Shahs and similar chains for what feels like forever. In all my years, today I experienced what I'd rank as the best customer service I've ever received from James.

Way more than just a smile, James demonstrated a level of hospitality and positivity that I've never seen from any of these establishments before. With an attitude like that, James is truly an asset to Shahs in Riverhead! I'm grateful I had the pleasure of meeting him today.

I’ve been going to this place for four years now and it has just gone up in price and down in quality.

I used to go here all the time, but now I rarely ever do. I always try to go to a different shahs if possible because this shahs is normally the least fresh.

Their pepper and onions are a bit overcooked and always left out a little too long and just look like mush.

And they seem sort of full of themselves, which is ironic because again they’re sort of at their most disgusting point of their career…

They do seem to be getting more popular and I guess that gives reason to the downfall in quality and the rise in prices and attitude
