Always great ice cream. They close every winter….to raise prices every spring. Remember, it’s Riverhead; not Martha’s Vineyard.

This place is kind of like All-American in terms of an ice cream shop that sets itself apart from other mass franchises.
Courteous employees and they have sorbet for lactose intolerant people like me!
Wheelchair accessibility: While there doesn't appear to be a designated spot for wheelchair vehicles, parking is aplenty and the doorway is a little tight but doable.

Once I saw homemade ice cream I knew I had to stop by to give it a try since I was visiting the area. Glad I chose the cherry pistachio, great flavor! Luckily no line when arrived, but a line formed afterwards. Parking was plenty, but did fill up quick once a line started to form. Friendly staff as well, highly recommend!

Was greeted by a young man named Nigel, he was amazing and patient as we asked about the menu. My kids were being indecisive and he gave out helpful ideas on items to get.
Even when the shop got full he still took his time serving us, making the experience onw of the best we've ever had getting ice cream.
The kids got shakes, my wife got butter pecan and I got apple crumb cake. Everything was amazing and the servings are generous!
This is the best place on LI for ICE CREAM!
Next time I'm on LI we'll be back!!!

A stop at Snowflake when visiting the North Fork is always a delicious decision! Awesome ice cream with great range of flavors- and even a small is like two. Ice sized scoops so good value too! I got cherry vanilla which was exceptional, others had maple walnut and some other flavors. Some shaded seating area too.
