I just orded a pizza,and wanted thin crust,it came with a thick crust ,and hardly any cheese, the were known for a lot of cheese, they must be cuttback ,I guess I will go back to Carruso pizza

TL;DR: After 20 years as a customer, they gave away my last slice, lied about it, never apologized, and treated me rudely. I will not be going back.
If you are visiting Road House Pizza in Riverhead, NY, here is my advice: if you order the last slice of any pizza, do not leave until it is in your hands.
I have been going to this place for nearly 20 years, but the service has gone downhill. In the past few visits, I have dealt with a woman who I believe is related to the owner, and she has always been rude and difficult. Today was no different.
While I was still at the register, I overheard the customer behind me ask for the same Greek salad slice I had just ordered. The staff told her it was already taken, so I thought everything was fine. When our food arrived, the waiter told me my slice would be delayed and that he would bring it out soon. My whole family ate their food while I waited. It then became clear that they had given my slice to the other customer.
When I went back inside, they claimed that both slices had been ordered at the same time, which I knew was not true because I overheard the earlier conversation. They did not apologize or show any concern that I was left out while my family ate. Instead, they argued with me because I was upset.
In the end I got a refund for the slice, and one employee even offered me a replacement, but the experience was already ruined. As I was leaving, one employee spoke to me in Spanish, and when I responded, the same woman rudely interrupted.
After nearly two decades of loyalty, this was the last straw. Road House Pizza has lost my family’s business.

As a detroiter whos in town for work, who’s been all over the country trying “best of the best” this place! MAN….. I need a copy and paste to come downtown Detroit… the Boone hero was phenomenal! And thank you to the gentlemen with the glasses at the counter for recommending the buffalo slice, also incredible!

The food is favorable & fresh. The pepperoni 🍕 is delicious 😋 & you need 2 get an order of the famous garlic knots- chief's kiss 💋. If you R dining in B advised that the dining area is a little cramped but the service is spot on🎯. Picnic tables R available if U want to dine outside & enjoy 🌞🌞but let's understand that this is LI NY & it rains 🌦🌧 almost every couple of days. Friendly service and a wonderful location. The margarita pizza needs to be better. The pizza was loaded with cheese and sauce, which made it impossible to pick up. The slice was just a complete mess. I also had a stuffed slice which tasted like it was sitting there for a while, even though they just opened. I've had pizza there before and normally its good. The last two times however, i threw out more than i ate.

There were geese and the pizza tastes amazing. Especially the Hawaiian pizza 🍕🍍! The Bianca pizza had too much cheese and cream cheese. And the river was pretty, careful for the geese poop 💩.
