Tropical Smoothie Cafe

The Tropical Cafe on Cherokee Street in Chattanooga, TN is by far the best I have ever been too!! They actually know us by name and greet us by our names every time. Their Sandwiches are always fresh and hot and made to order and their smoothies are absolutely out of this world!!! Especially the Peanut Protein Smoothie 😋😋😋. We love this location so much and how were treated we visit at least once or twice every week.

I called in my order today for a Caribbean jerk wrap that was customized and went in to pick it up. I decided to sit in my car and eat it since I was planning on making a stop instead of going straight home. As I took the second bite, I noticed something hard in my mouth. I thought it might have been a burnt piece of meat. I reached into my mouth and pulled out a hard peace of plastic. It was the plastic used to close up the bread or wrap packaging. I immediately went into the store to show them. They looked at it and acknowledged that it goes on the bread packaging. I told them it's not supposed to be in my food. They didn't know what to do. I asked to see a manager but none was there. They gave me a card to contact a manager. I thank God because if I would have ignored the hardness and swallow, I probably would have choked.

they have two people working and only one person taking orders and making smoothies so for something that should be super quick and easy takes way too long. And their customer service is subpar and all their food is just microwaved. Please open up a Jamba Juice by me !!!

This place needs to hire all new employees. I waited 30 minutes for 1 smoothie. So incredibly slow and unorganized

Flavor of our smoothies were delicious.
Service was super cheerful & professional.
I was laughing the whole time after we paid because the cashier/server heard my husband wrong but he didn’t want to complain. He asked for a Paradise Point but the receipt said Peanut Paradise. He received a peanut drink instead of a tropical drink. But he said even that tasted good enough to let it go.

Parking: This business is located in a large shared parking lot. Plenty of parking.

Went in there for dinner tonight went there at 8:06 didn't get my food until 8:26 then when I get back to work it was wrong waste of money don't go here staff is slow and unprofessional 20 minutes to make a little wrap and a drink all I had was a half an hour break and this happened to me multiple times

food and smoothies are fantastic, the service not so much. they need more staff desperately because waiting A HALF HOUR for one sandwich is absolutely ridiculous. won’t be coming back for a long time.

Sept 28th -1:15 If I could give this place 0 stars I would, I decide to give this place an other shot since people make mistakes I thought this was gonna be a regular day at Trop!! My smoothie tasted like water with big chunks of ice I didn’t know I was drinking a Freeze But no, I soon as I walk in to pick up my smoothie you have a employee who looks like the apple jack character yelling and cursing at a other employee awhile the other employee proceed to walk away Apple jack dude starts screaming and yelling inappropriate words as if he isn’t in a work environment. Younger fella who tried to walk away from screaming employee ends up going outside As I was at the dryer and cleaner place you can see both employees outside while young fella standing there and other employee yelling and saying he will slap him Which I find quite unprofessional in the front where customers are entering and exiting. Paying almost 10 dollars for a smoothie that is completely not drinkable. Will not return. Horrible store!!! do not waste your time coming here!! Find a different place to eat with your family/friends! This store mind as well be shut down!!!! Manger no where to be nowhere awhile other employees are standing there and watching
