Not sure if it’s a coincidence that on the two last occasions I came into Dutch’s the bartender/server woman who wears a barret hat has been rude. On the first occasion, she barely checked on our table and swung our food in front of us yet we still gave a good tip because we figured it was just a bad day. Yet on tonight’s occasion, I smile & try to order a drink as no one else is waiting on a drink and the other bartender approached me twice and didnt say a word before turning around as I tried to order, so when she came up behind me I let her know and her response was CAN YOU SPEAK LOUDER I CANT HEAR YOU. .. while we were face to face and the music was at a moderate level. Once she asked me what kind of liquour I’d like, proceeded to give me bottom shelf, and when she brought me the check she once again swung it at me. I’ve always loved the food at Dutch’s and have always had a good experience when dealing with other server/bartenders and it’s really sad that someone like this could make a neighborhood staple a place someone avoids just to not deal with someones distasteful attitude. The food is wonderful and honestly everyone else is a gem. Just beware of the above.

Smash burgers were great! I've driven passed this place every year when I go up for the last 15 years and have never stopped in. I will absolutely be back and they have a small pool table and dart boards for some added fun. Bartenders were helpful and attentive. Will absolutely be going back!

Your bartender tonight on 10/5 at 1am is straight rude nasty and disrespectful women !!!!! Brown hair pony tail and your tall guy bartender with blonde talking about us as we are standing at the bar. Very rude never again will I step foot into that place of business again!!!! Never again I have no experienced service like this

On 9/28 around 4 pm. I had a horrendous experience at this bar/restaurant. I’m so upset. Bartender has a serious attitude problem. Never even go to sit down and eat. My son was very puzzled at why we could not just sit down, eat and watch the chiefs ravens game. Last time going there. I’m am not getting treated like PIECE OF GARBAGE. I would have to be an idiot to patronize them anymore.

Very rude bartender. Went to the dining room to watch a football game with my son where we were told politely that they couldn’t change the game in that room. But that we could sit in the bar area and watch it there. We made our way to the bar area and took 2 bar stools to the pub tables. We were told we couldn’t move the bar stools from the bar. So we politely asked the bartender if we could sit at the bar to which she rudely told us that my son had to be 18 which was fine but we were offered no alternative and another attitude. I said can I just want to sit down and watch the game with my son and with no quick response I said something (negative comment) she just smiled and waved me goodbye. After decades of going to this place I have to stand on principle and still can’t believe I went through this. Needless to say, we went anywear else and had no problem. Having a miserable bartender is one thing but getting into an argument just so we could eat and watch the game, just not worth it. Will start going to a different bar

Boy has this place changed visiting the area as well as Dutch restaurant for over 10 years Hey there, Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon all the Smashburger With cheddar cheese, bacon and sautéed onions, they give you two smash burgers on top of each other. The bacon was petrified and the roll/bun was bigger than the patties not to mention my fries with a ice cold Went there on Sunday because it's the only place in town Ordered A cheeseburger platter as for Asked for it to be cooked medium came out well done fries with ice cold again three of us ordered burgers each one of us got cold fries at that point I got up requested to be served fresh freshly made french fries which they accommodated us. We waited over an hour for the meal. They need to do something about that kitchen. I will tell you this the chili is very good. Other than that it may be worth the drive to go to Monticello.

We were seated and a waiter came over to take our drink order. My wine was brought promptly, but we had no utensils and no napkins, so when my red wine dripped down the glass as it almost always does after a sip, I had no napkin with which to wipe the wine off my glass. Therefore, it ended up dripping on to my light blue cotton shorts and I'm now left with the visible memory of my glass of red wine. The waiter took our order when he brought the drinks. We ordered fried pickles, which were delicious; a cheeseburger with fries, also very good; and a veggie and chicken quesadilla, surprisingly good. However, we still had no utensils or napkins, the waiter never noticed and never brought them, and we had to ask. By the time utensils and napkins were brought (we were seated outside), our food had become tepid. While I was about to dig into the quesadilla, the container of sour cream got knocked onto the floor, which was jammed on the plate with a container of salsa. I wish the containers had been delivered separately, not jammed on to the plate with the quesadilla. I would have liked another container of sour cream, but no one came over to our table to ask how we were doing or if we needed anything. Long after we finished our meals, a waitress came over to ask us if we wanted dessert or the check, not the original waiter who took our order. No explanation, and it would have been nice if we were told about the switch. I told her about the dumped sour cream, and she asked me if I wanted another one. Um, NO, too late, because I already finished my meal, thanks and no thanks. We didn't leave a good tip because of the poor service. We usually leave at least 20%. We would go back and try once more because the food was good, and the fried pickles were awesome; but, if we get poor service again, that's it - we wouldn't go back a third time. Inattentive and inconsistent service, good food.

Food is surprisingly good for what it is. Bar staff is super friendly. The only thing I’ve ever gotten I haven’t been happy with is the Rubin the quality of the meat is pretty low, but everything else is very good. Burgers are awesome. Wings are great nachos are good solid bar food.
