Rock Stream Vineyards

Rock Stream was a stop on our winery tour we did with Fitzgerald Brother’s. I made the reservation for 13 of us about 1 month in advance and they were prepared when we arrived. However, when we walked in I was immediately asked to pay a remaining balance of $8 before we were even greeted by staff. The bartender was incredibly rude, annoyed when people would walk away from the bar to use the restroom or step outside. He said “I can’t explain the wine now” however at this point I was on my third wine of the tasting and had none of them described to me. Seemed as though he was finding something to complain about. Unfortunately, we ended our tasting early and left due to the rude staff and feeling unwelcome. Throughout the rest of the trip I have heard from multiple people that they have had similar experiences here. I would not recommend if you are traveling with a large group.

Very good wine, would have bought some bottles, but as others have said, male bartender was annoyed and rude. Even tried to start multiple conversations with him, didn't quite work.

Male bartender was rushing us and seemed annoyed that we were there. Mark, the owner, is friendly, knowledgeable and kept the place open for us for karaoke Friday night.

We had a great experience with owner/vintner Mark at Rock Stream! Visiting mid-week in the Finger Lakes gave us the opportunity to chat and sample the wide variety of Vinifera and Hybrid wines produced here, as well as some excellent “port style” dessert wines and even a sip of grappa! Mark knows the chemistry and art of winemaking - the wines reflect that skill and passion! Back home, we enjoyed the Rock Stream Traminette tonight with a Salmon over fried rice and poblano pepper dinner - perfect pairing! AND the prices were very reasonable.

Rock Stream was our first stop for our 2024 wine tour weekend with a group of 30. They were amazing!!! They not only welcomed our group, but they provided excellent service and had a great organization. The wine, beer and spirits were loved by all. They were also very welcoming when our group wanted to hang out and have a drink or two. We enjoyed the fire rings on the patio, chatted with the owner and workers and had a great experience. Thank you Rock Stream, we will be back!!

Ruined it with lack of customer service. Seemed we were an inconvenience with a party of just 2. Male server acted as if he didn’t have time for us.

Wow. We walk in the guy behind the counter.."we have a bus of 30 people coming" not hello, not welcome. Yeah not a place we will ever go back to. Lesson for owner...whether we are 4 or 40 you should give the same kind of service.

Such an awesome experience! Delicious wines and grappas. Had such nice conversation with the owner as well. Definitely worth the stop!!!
