As a Brit this place is a real taste of home. The pub itself is a lovely, cozy, place that has all the charm of an authentic British local. The cask beers are traditional to the UK but hard to find in the States, so if you’re looking to try something different, this is the spot. The grounds are also spectacular with gorgeous views on Seneca Lake. Other highlights are the cask beer festival they hold in the summer, as well as Bonfire Night, which is a traditional British holiday that takes place on Nov 5th. They also sell popular UK snack foods and other imported treats. The last time I visited they still hadn’t found a new chef, but I hear they are trying to reopen the kitchen as soon as they can. There’s nothing else quite like it in the area.

This place caught my wife's eye while we were heading to our next stop. So we stopped. It's a bit confusing on how to enter the place. Could go in the back or the side, but the front is the main entrance. It's a house turned into a brewery. But not any brewery like a brew pub from over the pond where the beer is served at room temperature v/s sitting in a cooler getting cold. She had a Red Ale and I had a Pale Ale, the Pale Ale didn't taste like a juicy drink that I'm used to having here in the states. The room temperature didn't bother me. I think I just liked or enjoyed the red ale a lot more than my beer. The atmosphere inside is really cool. Reminds me what a pub would look like in the UK somewhere. We were caught by the place in the back called the Snug. We went in the back to enjoy our beers and get some photos. Had asked someone to help us take a photo. The Snug we learned is a place where people rent out for special events. It has a nice outlook in the back of the yard overlooking the lake. I highly recommend stopping here, it was a good stop.

Disappointed. Supposed to be opened at noon. We knocked on the door and nobody answered or unlocked the door

The cask ales are delicious! Be forewarned, they're not cold. This is English ale...

Super cool pub on the wine trail. Looks like you’re going into someone’s house and you enter into a British pub. Love the imported European goods and the theme of this bar. They’ll were having a Guy Fox celebration and it seemed like it was going to be super cool, but sadly we had to leave. Will definitely be back.

My favorite brewery of all of Seneca Lake. Delicious cask ales that are spot on on what I had in London. I’m from Harrisburg, Pa. and am looking forward to my next visit. Brad was generous enough to bring up some vintage cellar bottles to share. This is a must stop.

Checked out this venue for a potential wedding venue and wow, it did not disappoint. Gorgeous views of Seneca Lake, amazing cask ales, and a truly awesome venue for your future wedding or event. There are even some cool yurts within stumbling distance so you can wake up to the beautiful blue skies over Seneca.

great scenery but we were disappointed in the beer. we had multiple different "pallets". They all felt the beer might be infected due to the vinegar notes.

Not dog friendly because they have their own puppies. It smells like dog and pee. Walked in and right back out. The guys stayed and said the beer was not good. Wouldn't recommend.

Pains me to say this but this was definitely not the beer I had in years past. Both the bitters, Baker st and ESB, were sour in an unpleasant way and sadly I had to walk outside and pour the Steamship (I think it was this beer) out- tasted like lacquer. Clutter everywhere including two misbehaved puppies. This was a knife to my heart and I left depressed. I didn’t have it in me to give it 1 star but sadly it deserves it.
