Aperitif Bistro Wine Bar

Went there for anniversary dinner! The restaurant was quaint with French inspired decor! The food was delicious and service was perfect!

We took a friend out before going to a concert at Molloy University, The food was excellent and the portions were large for a French restaurant. The service is very accommodating. We will definitely return.

We have visited here many times. This past Saturday we decided to visit again for our anniversary. Our reservaion was booked through Open Table and we received a confirming call that we infact made the reservation. When we arrived we noted that there was a 40th Birthday celebration in the main dining room. Guests were chatting loudly with enthisiasm for the celebration. We were seated against the wall that backed onto the party wall. As the guest of honor arrived the noise got significantly louder. It was difficult to carry on a conversation with my husband. (All other seats further away from the party were taken.) the restaurant was very busy. Our meal choices were delicious, Grilled Salmon, Sesame Crusted Tuna (rare). Prepared perfectly. Service was excellent and our waiter apologised for the noise several times. We will go back, however, next time I will inquire if there is a party, and perhaps choose another night. When mentioned to the manager that no one said anything about a party, he said Business is business ... MY point was if we knew about the party, we might have chosen another night. Ask before you come.

First time here. Great kitchen. excellent service (Ronaldo!!!). Solid wine choices. Will be coming back often.

The oysters gave my friend and I food poisoning! Saw another review here from a few days ago saying the same thing. Otherwise that, the wine and experience was good. Just please be more careful with your oysters!

my friend and I stopped by here on Saturday for a couple glasses of wine and we shared 10 oysters, which unfortunately gave us terrible food poisoning. the atmosphere is nice and I’ve been here before and enjoyed it but I felt the need to post this PSA to check to make sure the oysters are fresh

Food was good, dimly lit banquette for people trying to read menus, service was spotty. Possibly due to a rainy quiet Monday - will likely remain going back to the quaint bistro.

Went for dinner at 5 but instead decided to do happy hour at the bar. The bartender Elena was so sweet and informative and the drinks were delicious. The food was amazing too!!

Ac is almost not existent at this big restaurant.

We have never tried this restaurant before and were impressed! The food was delicious and the menu varied. Our server Frank got it all right and checked diligently to be sure the desired dishes were safe for my food allergies. Our only complaint was that the sun glared through the windows making it necessary to cover my eyes with a hand- difficult to eat and converse this way. The sheer curtains were not helpful at all. Simple shades which could be rolled down would solve the problem. We noticed every one facing the windows had the same problem. Easy fix which would make this 5s all across. We will return but only if we can be seated in different seats.
