Very fresh food - tastes homemade and the place is so impeccably clean - I felt like I could eat off the floor. They were even cleaning the windows when I walked in. I had a chicken arepa, which was delicious, as well as some empanadas (chicken and guava), also delicious. And the sauces were so flavorful. I look forward to going back to try more of their menu.

Great place! Service is wonderful our server was friendly and charismatic. The whole place was clean and had nice decorations. Was not a big place so the seating area was tight. In terms of food, My friend and I definitely ordered a bit too much for just the two of us but I must say the rice and beans we loved it. They are generous with portion size so next time I will get small lol. Tasted great with just the plain arepa with cheese but next time I wouldn't get extra cheese the normal amount was more than enough. I underestimated the size of the arepa I thought it would be a lot smaller but no it was larger than my hand. The chorriperro was okay I wouldn't really get it again just was too much and tasted more like chorizo. The sugarcane lemonade was refreshing would get again. The limonada de coco was okay not my favorite. My friend got the steak arepacone and he stated it was pretty good and that if he had just ordered that alone it would be filing. Overall, it was a nice spot and would try more of their casseroles and entrees. Would recommend !

So I just happened to be in Rockville Center because I had a doctor's appointment. And suddenly - arepas!! I gotta say, this restaurant seriously has one of the best arepas in New York. Although the interior is a little small, the vibes are welcoming! Great Latin music playing on the TV. The guy working there was friendly. Nice decorations and Colombian flags. For lunch, I ordered the beef and cheese arepa with tostones on the side. Plus a blackberry smoothie to drink. The arepa was so delicious!! Nice cheese pull with a hint of sweetness. The beef was flavorful and had a very generous portion. I thought the price of everything was reasonable for the portions. The tostones were fried perfectly. I liked the green sauce that came with the tostones on the side. The smoothie was sweet and thick. Exactly how I would like it :) I can't wait to bring my family here to try this place! I wish I lived closer so I could try more of the menu! Highly recommend.

Welcome to the neighborhood. While RVC has a long list of Mexican and TexMex restaurants, we don't have much in the way of Columbian food, until now. Their arepas are exactly what you'd hope for; pillowy, cheesy, and warm. However, I tend to find myself gravitating towards the topped-tostones. Delicious, salty, savory fried green plantain, topped with a variety of toppings. My wife also loves the shredded chicken, which seems to be only available topped on an arepa, and not in any other dish, which is confusing. We wish it would come in a rice dish or something else, because it's sooo good! I will say, though, that I did not care for their empanadas. I found them a little too oily and over-cooked the time I got them. In-store, they also have a variety of latin-american snacks and desserts on sale, which I will have to try at some point. They've already become a regular on our "takeout wheel" for weekend dinners, and i look forward to sampling more of the menu.

Popped in for lunch this past cold & rainy Sunday and warmed up with some coffee, bandeja paisa and empanadas. Located on a quiet street in Rockville Centre, this cozy hidden gem boasts some incredible flavors, neighborly vibes and attentive service. The portions are rather large, especially with the bandeja paisa. It was split amongst the two of us and there was still enough to pack up and have for lunch the next day. I love the location as live super close but even if you don't, it's worth the hike! Located a short walk from the LIRR as well, so it's super convenient to get to.

Based on the reviews, we were very disappointed. Empanadas(both beef and chicken) seemed to have a hard bottom crust. Could have been caused by reheating. We also ordered the mini arepa sampler and the platter for 2 to 3 people. The arepas were very good. As for the sampler, we only liked the chicken. The beef was not cooked to order so it was tough. Wings were OK. Guacamole was also good. We did not like the sausages either. The yellow potato was good. Has potential but we won't be going back.Parking: Parking on the street is not too bad.

If you haven’t eaten here yet, you need to stop by, and it will become a regular place for you. The chicharron tostones are some of the best I’ve ever had. The pork is a perfect mix of tender meat, soft fat and crispy skin. If you’re an eater like me, that alone will be your new favorite go-to. The Market Fries are phenomenal. Perfect mix of ingredients with the beef cooked to perfect tender medium rare. And they don’t go cheap on the other ingredients like the guac and cheese. The beef empanada… shhh…. Is waaaay better than my grandparents use to make. Cue the grave rolling. Arepas mini sampler is a good mix to try it all, and it’s all well seasoned. Enough talk, don’t take my word for it. Give it a try and you won’t be sorry!

Great place to eat. I'd recommend doing takeout since the seating is limited and not a sit down style place. Regardless, the food is amazing and prices are good especially for the quality of food. The people I've interacted with who work there have always been pleasant and seemed to enjoy what they're doing. I'll be a regular customer here.Parking: Limited spots out front however just down the block (west) there is usually parking. It is not paid parking.
