Chadwick's American Chop House & Bar

All 4 of us raved about our meals. Two ordered off the menu (Sea Bass and Pork Chop) and two had one of the night's specials (Crab meat stuffed Sole). We started with two appetizers-chicken meatballs from the menu (I recommend getting one for every two diners) and the special, Thai calamari. All four of us ordered dessert and coffee, which were also great. To help the reader assess value, we each had a cocktail to start the evening and two of us had a glass of wine with the meal and the cost before tax and gratuity was about $350. All four of us are looking to return in early January to kick off 2026 with a great meal at a terrific restaurant.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) We celebrated my birthday dinner at Chadwicks on Thursday evening and had a wonderful time! The restaurant is small but absolutely immaculate and beautifully maintained, with a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The seating was very comfortable, and the staff were attentive, professional, and knowledgeable — we felt well cared for from start to finish. The drinks were delicious (though on the pricey side), and the meals were beautifully plated, generous in portion, and full of flavor. Dessert options were a bit expensive, but still enjoyable. The only downside was the noise level — when the live two-piece band began playing, it became difficult to hear our own table. While the music was good, in such an intimate space, it felt a bit too much for a dinner setting where you want to enjoy conversation. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience — elegant, lively, and perfect for a special occasion. Just be prepared for a higher bill and a bit of background noise. Still, a wonderful spot that I'd recommend for anyone looking to celebrate something special!

We've been going to Chadwick's for years. Always excellent food and service. However, how do they charge $22. For a top shelf bourbon old fashioned but just $17 for a top shelf gin martini? Same work. I never paid that much in Manhattan.

We had a wonderful experience at Chadwick's. The food was delicious! Our waitress Theresa was fantastic. She timed everything perfectly! She was very attentive and pleasant! Would definitely return again!

I love coming to Chadwick's. The entire staff is wonderful. I've never once had a bad meal and you say the same faces time after time which says a lot about how people work for people. Chadwicks is a wonderful restaurant and the waiters & runners/bus-staff make the experience above and beyond. Danny and Teresa are a great asset to the restaurant.

At Chadwick's my party of 6 (which included a 9, 12 and 15 year old) experienced an outstanding dining experience. The chefs culinary talent is expressed in every dish with bursts of perfectly balanced flavors. We had the clams, calamari, tuna tartar, crab meat egg rolls and French onion soup. Portions were perfect and light enough where you still had room for the main course. For dinner we had the ribeye, penne in red sauce, fries, short rib and a side of spinach. We finished the meal with a key lime cheesecake and chocolate bunt cake with warm birthday wishes for a loved one. The dim lighting enhanced the intimate setting, bathrooms were clean and waiters were professional and courteous. Eddie was extremely accommodating, friendly and checked on us during the evening. We would absolutely dine here again!

Very nice evening with great friends. We were able to sit and catch up without feeling like we were being rushed. Were able to hear each other speak. Nice ambiance, fantastic waiter and the food was delicious, and great value for the money.

One of the better restaurants on Long Island. We lack this caliber of white table cloth, moderate-fine dining. The food is outstanding and the prices were accessible. The staff was attentive and lovely, high recommend
