We were there celebrating my birthday. Our food was delicious. Tracy our server was very friendly and attentive.
Chadwick's has always been a "go to" restaurant where you can always count on great food and service. It did not fail us!! The salmon was delicious and the peach pork chop was amazing!!
Visited Chadwick's on 6/10/25 as we were meeting a friend that was staying locally overnight before traveling abroad. We're from Suffolk County and did not know of Chadwick's but a former colleague of mine recommended it to us. My wife and I arrived prior to our friend and had drinks at the bar with Terrence, the bartender. Terrence was welcoming, the drinks perfectly prepared, the bar was clearly full with locals and the ambiance was nice. Once our guest arrived we were seated at a table in the main dining room just off the entrance to the restaurant. It was a great location as we had a view of the entire restaurant but still maintained some privacy so that we could converse without extra noise. Our server, Allison, welcomed us, took drink and appetizer orders and made some great recommendations for our main courses. The food came out quickly (but nicely spaced between courses), was perfectly prepared and tasty delicious! The total cost of dinner (drinks, appetizers and entrees) for 3 was $150... very affordable for the quality and amount of food we received. Allison checked in on us regularly, our water glasses were regularly filled by the serving team yet we were never rushed. In fact we may have been the last guests in the dining room for the night and we were welcome the entire time we were there. The restaurant is right in the heart of the Village of Rockville Center, within walking distance of the train station and the Catholic Cathedral in town. There are some tables and chairs out front for outdoor dining. While we don't live locally, we'll absolutely visit again when we're in the area. Thanks Chadwick's for a great night out!
We went for dinner with our family from out of town. The food was delicious. The onion soup was a favorite as well as the prime rib. It was a bit noisy when we sat down but by the time we left it had whited down and we all enjoyed our dinner.
Very good food good atmosphere. Service was a tad slow but the waiter apologized numerous times. He was very courteous. Overall nice experience
This is one of our favorites. Last night seemed a bit more frenzied than normal. We were near 2 large parties which changed the usually quiet noise level. When each left, the noise level decreased. Our waitress, Ali was fabulous. Everything was as ordered and served with expertise. Overall we had a lovely evening and lingered for awhile afterwards with no problems. We will return again soon.
Enjoyed the prime rib special. Tried the lobster taco appetizer...very good. Chadwicks is one of our favorites
Always excellent food and great service! I live in Florida and every time I come to New York it's an ABSOLUTE MUST that I go to Chadwick's!!
Always great food, service and value. Consistently wonderful with great sunset menu and weekday specials.
Tuna tartare appetizer, short ribs and apple tostada desert were delicious! Wait staff was very attentive. Would highly recommend!

It is always a wonderful experience at Chadwicks. We decided to celebrate the Jewish New Year as my friend lost her Mom recently, who she would normally celebrate. It really was a wonderful evening. "Wine down Wednesday " always makes it appealing, and the new menu has something for all. The service is top notched and the restaurant is beautiful.
I really enjoyed my visit. I sat at the bar, and it was clear this is a true local spot—everyone seemed to know the bartender! The quality of the meat was good, with a great cut. While the sauce with the filet mignon wasn't extraordinary, th meat cut saved the day. I also had a few friendly chats with some regulars, which added to the cozy, laid-back vibe. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel right at home.

If you’re looking for a spot with great food, good service, and a solid overall experience, Chadwick, American Chophouse and Bar is where you need to be. From the moment I walked in, the staff was attentive but not overbearing, and the vibe was welcoming.
The food? Fantastic. Each dish was prepared to perfection, with rich flavors that didn’t disappoint. Whether you’re going for a steak or something lighter, the quality is consistent. And the best part? The prices were totally fair for what you’re getting.
I’ll definitely be back—this place knows how to do it right!

I used to love this place but in my recent visit the menu was changed. My favorite items were removed like the crab cakes, thick cut bacon, and the duck. Still a decent experience but the menu changes were disappointing ?
