A bit busy on service , otherwise food is great and tea is splendid . Love the full on brew and atmosphere is quite cozy. My mum and I enjoyed it and shall return.

The food was amazing. We started off with scones which honestly before these I was not a fan of but boy am I glad to have given them a chance because they are delicious. I ended up getting an order to go as well. The food as well 2 so good asking with the tea options a great date spot.

I came here with my cousins and I had a great experience. It was a cute Paris theme tea room with beautiful decor and cute music. It reminded me of a emily in paris vibe from netflix lol. The place was big but I would recommend a reservation because it gets crowded. The service was very good and the food was to die for. I got the bottomless mimosas for $20 which was such a great deal. We ordered the scones to share which were to die for with butter and jam. I ordered the eggs Benedict crepe which was very good and hit the spot. The tea was amazing also and the table setting was so cute. I would say this is the perfect place for a girls brunch where you want to dress up.

absolutely a nightmare! 630 reservation didn't have my entrée until 845. I had to remind the owner that our food still hadn't come yet - she looked flustered, and had no idea. (they weren't even that busy) Service horrible and the owner was one of the rudest people I've ever met in my life. The owner sat and feed her whole family at a table right next to us, while I sat there with my family - with (2) kids 1 and 9 for two hours with no food and watched everyone else eat. I do not recommend this restaurant TO ANYONE. BE ADVISED - RIP OFF. don't go - SAVE YOUR MONEY!! and what I mean by that, our bill was way off the charts - 3 appetizers, 4 entrées, two desserts, seven glasses of wine and two beers. oh and 7 glasses of club soda @ $35 for a grand total of $570 which included 20% gratuity for terrible service - she ant no Jean-George, that's for sure. If anybody knows good French food

Do not order fish or seafood at this restaurant we had the seafood crêpe which was fishy and so is the fish and chips. That means that the fish is old and frozen. Other foods were mediocre. My daughter said the French onion soup was too sweet and the grilled chicken, Caesar salad was over, dressed and salty

Really great afternoon tea! They give a lot of food, and it is all so delicious. The scones are soft, buttery, and perfect and the clotted cream is one of the best I’ve had in NYC. They also have a really large selection of delicious teas to choose from.

Service leaves a lot to be desired. They were not opened at the time scheduled. We were the first to arrive had made reservations. Seated, given menus ordered, many other tables arrived served and left, we were still waiting for our order, simple items, egg and cheese croissant, blt croissant, and crab cake all on menu no special requests or changes. Did you see our order? Us either. Did you see the waitress? Us either. Could you get anybody to come over? Us either. Finally waitress arrives! " oh let me check, you were the first order ". The room was cold with door opening and closing (out of their control) due to room design. We were planning to book an event, that definitely will NOT be happening. Tea was cold by the time food arrived. Food was fine, portions fine. Will not be returning. Do not recommend.

This was, not too long ago, one of my favorite go to spot for a quaint relaxing meal. I enjoyed bringing friends and family here. This time, temperature was so cold that we had to keep our coats on for the first half of our stay. The whole experience took too long -from being offered our initial tea service to even getting the check. While it may be due to insufficient servers, I feel the service has declined and the atmosphere feels a bit frantic with servers rushing around. I hope that this is addressed.

We arrived for our morning reservation and it was closed. I called and left a voicemail. About 10 minutes later the staff slowly sauntered in one by one. Since we were first to arrive we were seated immediately. We told various staff members we were planning an event and were curious about the rooms etc. After the server took our order she disappeared. Soon the restaurant filled. But we watched table after table receive their meals while we still waited on ours. Our server was no where to be seen. Finally when she emerged we had to wave her down to say we hadn't received our food. She apologized and said she would get us a basket of scones on the house but disappeared again. She didn't come back until after someone served our meals. Once our meals were done she came back with the scones but we just wrapped them to go. No one ever checked to see if our food was ok. I also went to the hostess to ask about events and she said she would take down my info. But then she walked away and didn't give me a pen or paper to write down my info. I happened to have some in my bag so I jotted down the info. She ended up serving some tables and kept ignoring me when I tried to get her attention. She passed me 4 times and finally my sister stood up and walked over to her to give it to us. The food was amazing but the staff couldn't be bothered. We decided to host our event elsewhere based on this experience.

We had a very disappointing with the service here. They called at 2:49p to say the 4:00p reservation we had could not be fulfilled, and asked us to be there at three o'clock. We were already on the way and arrived promptly at 3:00 p.m. and we're seated and served water. No one came back to serve us therefore we left at 3:21p. At 3:23 p.m. out OpenTable reservation was cancelled as if we had not arrived.

I can't believe I waited so long to come here!! It was a fantastic experience! The food was delicious and the portions were great and well priced. The server Michelle was wonderful and completed the perfect experience for my birthday. Will recommend and will be returning frequently

Tea service for two. Woefully understaffed. The staff that was there was lovely, there just weren't enough of them. It took more than half an hour to get our tea, because they ran out of teapots. How does a tea house run out of teapots?? The scones were delicious, the finger sandwiches were ordinary. I've wanted to visit this venue for years. I can cross it off my list now.

Fabulous as usual. They had to bake us fresh scones so they were served warm. Best I have ever tasted. Everything first rate. My family's favorite restaurant for a special event or brunch or lunch anytime.

We have eaten here 3 times. We tried it before we brought our son, daughter in law and granddaughter . We had 3 good experiences. Everyone enjoyed the food, coffee and various teas they offered. The portions were reasonable and we found it delicious. Since weren't in a rush we found the service ok but I could see that there could be a problem if they're very busy. It's worth the wait in my opinion.

I came here for brunch with my friends we had the tea service and calamari. It was a wonderful experience. The restaurant is sweet and dainty. This would be wonderful for a bridal or baby shower. They have a variety of teas to choose from. Their menu is extensive. Even though we didn't try other stuff, the food smelled good from other tables. I recommend making a reservation because even with a reservation we had to wait ~10 minutes. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our tea service. Everything was fairly priced. I would suggest for the tea service: if we wanted more of one flavor of food and less/none of another (e.g., more chicken salad sandwiches instead of egg). Also, they need to make a disclaimer about the surcharge if using a card, fortunately, we asked and we paid in cash. Overall we enjoyed our time and will return again!Parking: Parking is free (lots and street) on Sundays.
