I have seen this quaint little neighborhood before but never been in. Yesterday was my one year wedding anniversary and we decided to try it out. I called in because i noticed they closed at 9 online and our reservation is at 8:45. John, the manager, assured me that the kitchen closes at 9 but the bar stays open until 10. I told him i had class until 8:30 and hr even suggested we call and order the food ahead of time. We did just that and the food was being brought to the table...
Our waiter, John was outstanding, attentive, great personality. Our bread basket had cut-up "Italian bread" that looks like it was from the corner bodega & half of it was rock hard - not just hard - like from the previous day and thrown in their to get rid of it. Should have NEVER been put in the basked and this was not the waiter's fault. Our table top was wobbling all over the place - our glasses and plates were sliding. Had to have my grandchildren's...
Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed a joyous celebration with our extended family at Frank's Steaks in Rockville Centre! Every person treated us like gold, from the hostess to the bartender, servers, and the owners. All the food was delivered hot and fresh to our spacious table, exactly as ordered, despite the large number of other tables occupied in their magnificent dining room. Kudos to owners John, Elliott, Chris & the others, who all make dining at Frank's Steaks...
