Look, this place is one of the closest things RVC has to a "bodega." Is it going to be an incredible experience? Of course not, and expecting that would be wrong. It's a tiny little store that sells snacks, drinks, beer, and cheap crap. If you're worried about the quality of the non-packaged items, don't buy them here. I bought a set of headphones with a mic in the wire on my way to Starbucks to work one day before I got internet set up in my place. The headphones were bad. They hardly worked, and people had difficulty understanding my over the phone. I got what I expected for $8. I will still point people here to pick up a six pack before coming to my place since the location is convenient. I have not made a deli order from this place, so I can't comment on that.

I wouldn't even classify this place as a Deli. More of a Newsstand/ rural gas station convenience store where the same items have been sitting on the shelves since 1947.

Below Average. ....... WAY BELOW ! The last time I had breakfast there, the eggs tasted like they were cooked in rancid butter. Other friends I know have said very similar things about this place. I haven't been back in six months so far, neither has anyone else I know. Nobody needs to get sick on disgusting food like this.....

Kaival Deli is just simply disgusting! Not only does the food taste gross, it even looks gross! Dried out past there prime cold cuts, Mayonnaise and butter that obviously has not seen a refrigerator in days, green slime coming from ones egg sandwich, just to name a few items I've heard from friends and co workers.. I've been in there personally twice, and each experience was a lesson in Food Poisoning! Anybody I know who's been there, has absolutely nothing good to say, and has never been back sense.

I came off the train and grabbed a sandwich there I notice the guy behind the counter was speaking Hindu the whole time and never gretted me or said thank you but that's not the problem.when I opened my sandwich the mayonnaise looked old and the sandwich had an odor I couldn't eat it so when I returned to the store the guy told me come back later he was now to busy to deal with this.its not the money it's the point.i wouldn't eat there again for free.disgusting
Bare bones deli- they do have the deli counter, but no soups, no pantry basics.

DO NOT ORDER HERE, THEY ARE SCUM BAGS! I just ordered some food and drink and the sum was twenty dollars, i had a fifty... mind you i told the guy on the phone to bring change for a fifty. Upon my food getting here, the delivery man rudely rang my door bell several times without giving me a good amount of time to answer... After that, i asked for the total, which was twenty, and handed hi ma fifty. He proceeded to then walk away as if i was tipping him thirty dollars. I told him to come back with my money and i needed change. He ran back to his friend in the car, and they booth claimed they had no change, only a twenty. The guy in the car told me he would give me 10 dollars store credit, which i said no to, considering they barely speak english, i doubt they'd remember they owed me 10 bucks. So after that, I got my money back and told them to take there food, i was extremely unsatsified with how they conducted themselves. The worst has yet to come, the driver then tells me he has the change, and gives me full change, 30 dollars. I was furious that i was lied to about having change. The driver then told me not to order from this piece of junk deli again, which i never will. DONT ORDER FROM THESE SAVAGES, I SINCERELY HOPE THESE SCUMBAGS GO OUT OF BUSINESS... I'VE NEVER BEEN SO UNSATISFIED TO A POINT WHERE I HAD TO WRITE A REVIEW ABOUT IT.

absolutely horrible!! i called on thanksgiving, since they are listed as open and delivery available. an unintelligent and barely english speaking person answers the phone stating they are either not open or not cooking, or not delivering and hangs up! wow! horrid horrid, will definitely let everyone i know not to order from here!

Kaival Deli has 3 things that set it apart from any other deli around. Food, service, and prices. Outstanding in all 3 categories and I highly recommend trying this place- you will be SO glad that you did.
