Simply amazing! Can't imagine how they do it, but the service was AMAZING!! Somehow I walked in and got a table on the 2nd busiest day of the year for an Irish Pub for 6 people and there was no wait! Except look at my picture the place was packed standing room only!! Just Amazing!Kid-friendliness: Kids are more welcome than adults!! lol they had all the accommodations for them!

We held a small family event at Monaghan's. The owners were easy to work with to plan the menu, prices were reasonable, service was good, and the food was excellent. Would certainly plan there again if the situation calls for it or just go for dinner.

Great place for drinks and to meet friends. The food is pretty good too! Hadn't seen Niles in over 25 years. Was like old times in Astoria.
Staff is great but food was just mediocre. The burger was overcooked and bread just tasted odd. Also runs on the pricier side

This was a favorite place of mine since it was opened. We moved away in 2012 but twice a year we’re up north and patronized it. Yesterday, I wanted to have their ‘delicious’ French onion soup and was SO DISAPPOINTED. I asked the waitress what happened that it was so bland. My son ordered Irish Stew and I ordered wings, SO DISAPPOINTED again. Well I guess that last night was my last time to eat at Monaghans. It was a great time had with good but definitely it’s over.
