Poke Frisee ( ROCKVILLE CENTRE)

I visited Poke Frisee in Rockville Centre and was genuinely impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by May, the owner, whose friendliness and patience made the ordering experience delightful.

I chose the Build Your Bowl option, combining cooked salmon with a variety of fresh mix-ins and sauces. I also ordered the pork dumplings and a miso soup. Everything came out fresh, hot where it needed to be, and beautifully presented.

The cooked salmon was tender and flavorful. It had a clean, mild taste that didn't over power the fresh ingredients in the bowl. The bowl was colorful and vibrant with crisp vegetables, good texture contrast, and generous portions. The pork dumplings were hot and steamed with just the right amount of filling and wrapper, juicy without being soggy. The miso soup was comforting, savory and gently salted (that's a plus for me) with seaweed and tofu.

May took her time to walk me through the toppings, flavor combinations, and sauce options. She was patient with my questions and gave thoughtful recommendations. The pace was relaxed so I never felt rushed.

The interior is casual and clean with some seating if you would like to dine in, though many people also order takeout. The personal touch really elevated the experience and knowing the owner is hands on helps create a welcoming vibe.

For what you get, the quality of the ingredients, the ability to customize, and the extra touches, the prices felt fair. Portions were generous, particularly for the bowl.

Poke Frisee is a gem in Rockville Centre. It strikes a lovely balance between quality poke bowls and friendly individualized service. The fact that May herself takes the time to guide customers and make thoughtful recommendations is a big plus.

I was very happy with my bowl, pork dumplings, and miso soup. It felt thoughtful, satisfying and fresh. If you are craving a custom poke experience especially if you prefer cooked proteins this is absolutely a place to try. I will definitely return both for the food and the warmth of the service.

The poke bowls here are incredible, and May takes them to the next level. Fresh ingredients, perfect portions, and service with a smile. She makes every bowl a masterpiece. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends!

While I have only ever gotten take out, this place is the best. You definitely get more than you'd expect for the price and the bowls are so fresh and delicious! I love stopping in for a nice, yummy lunch!

This restaurant is very good and is very nice particularly around the food and atmosphere in the area of the restaurant for example it has great air conditioning and has a great food selection and I love there poke bowls and drinks!! It is everything is very good all the time, including there food and drinks.

The cashier was so incredibly rude. Refused to give me a tap water for free and refused to refund us for 2 bubble teas after she put grapfruit slices in them which I’m severely allergic too. Please never go here!
