The sandwich was delicious even though it was what we ordered, and when we told management, they handled the situation beautifully! Retro is a great spot for some delicious sandwiches, chicken fingers, fries and more!It definitely has the feel of a late night spot, with graffiti covered walls and decor, with a mix of wooden tables and metal seats, serving up some solid food.The seasoned fries are spectacular, and the chicken fingers are fresh, crispy, and delicious. They have a few different great sauce options. My favorite was the Pink Sauce, which was like a ketchup and garlic mayonnaise combo.The service was fantastic. The guy took his time to talk me through all of the options and choices, and made some recommendations which helped a lot. The food is made fresh, so it did take about 15-20 minutes for it to come out, so just be ready for that.Overall, definitely a great place to check out on your next night out in RVC.

Another great additional to the food scene for rvc! You could easily miss this spot bc its next to a corner Loving the vibe of the artwork inside! They offer the half sandwich combo which is great when you can't decide! Everytime i see a cuban sandwich on the menu i default to getting it and wjrh the half option j also was able to order the Fried chicken whixh was super crispy. The empanadas were huge these look homemade! The gentleman at the counter made some great sauce suggestions!

Small casual eatery. The sandwiches are made to order and taste extremely fresh. The menu is well thought out and has nice beef and chicken options. The cheese sauce they use is made on sight and I loved it. They also have a few sauces to pair with the fries and I tried 3 of them and guess what, I loved all three. Fries are good as well! The man taking orders was very knowledge and helped guide me through the order process. This place also has a latin menu and serves several different types of empanadas. I haven't tried these yet, but will in the future.

If you are ordering to-go with 20 minutes on a meter, I highly recommend calling ahead or ordering on one of the many apps they are featured on...they make it fresh, so it is about a 15-20 min wait.Food:The food is great, as part of the Yelp Elites, we were gifted with half a cheesesteak of our choice, fries, and tenders (plus two sauces). I ordered the ribeye cheesesteak which was phenomenal! Cheesy goodness, with perfectly cooked steak, and crisp peppers/onions. The tenders are thick, juicy, seasoned, and pretty decently sized. The fries were seasoned nicely too! The sauces are a nice edition for dipping.Parking:If you know RVC, you know the parking. You can try to find a metered spot outside the shop (good luck), or just walk two minutes from the municipal parking (yes, metered as well).

Saw the good reviews been meaning to try it, and was definitely disappointed. If you enjoy a hero roll soaked in their cheese sauce, by all means, go for it. Ordered the ribeye cheese steak, barely any meat on it just majority cheese sauce, nothing like these pictures I've seen on these reviews... fries were seasoned well though at least they got that going for them....the hunt for a great cheese steak in NY continues still....
