Went in to ask about vegan options. They said they have a box of vegan chocolate chip cookies and can make vegan desserts upon request.

Great place always going back for the jelly donuts. Hey why did the one star reviewer post pics of 90% eaten food? Seems like they really liked it🤔. Anyway great job Tildas😀

I don't understand the few bad reviews. This is the best bakery in Suffolk county. Everything is fabulous!!! I'm 67 , grew up in city line Brooklyn and Queens where we had the best German and Italian bakeries in the world. Tilda's is fabulous. My only complaint, very expensive but I'm never dissatisfied with the product . Vincent Governale january 21 2025

I ordered cake for my daughter’s 3rd birthday and it was absolutely horrible. I asked for the design to include her name and age on it. The cake I received was missing her age on the cake and her name was written so small and sloppy like as if it’s was insignificant. Also I asked for a whipped Bavarian cream which they said they could do with fresh strawberries and they just gave me regular Bavarian cream and the strawberries were frozen. Some of my guests were cringing while eating it. I served the cake 4 hours after I picked it up and I had left the cake out to display during the party. For the amount of money I paid for this cake I should have gotten what I asked for. Never will I order from this place again.

We come for the best selection of fresh bread in the neighborhood, and otherwise resist temptation (to the best of our ability).

I needed a customized birthday cake. I went into the shop with pics and ideas. The person behind the counter was very confused. She went to ask the baker if they can do the cake. The person behind the counter said the baker said to buy a pre-made cake and put the stuff on yourself, it's cheaper. If I wanted to do that I would of. Plus, I couldn't find what I was looking for on amazon or esty.
I went to Frank and son bakery in Mastic. I gave my ideas and pics to the woman behind the counter and she actually helped me and gave me suggestions. She had taken pics of my pics on the phone. She stolen with the baker and he said he could do it. The end result, a beautiful cake customized the way I wanted it. Tilda turned me away with a bad suggestion and franks bakery had helped me so much and gave me what I had visualized in my head. I will never walk through the doors of Tilda again. They were no help.

Hi so I’m sure this place has amazing products. I wanted to order some cookies for my friend and it totally slipped my mind that it’s Thanksgiving week. The man I spoke to on the phone was kind until he continued to laugh at me for requesting such a thing. I apologized for thinking they could do the cookies because of Thanksgiving. It was no problem that they couldn’t do them, I’m sure they are so busy as I mentioned on the phone but to laugh at me was unprofessional and it made me feel like an idiot. So please be mindful of how your reactions to some things could be taken. I understand it’s early but customer service is important.

Absolutely, one of the BEST bakeries in Suffolk. And yes, I have been to ALL of them.

I am taste testing their sourdough bread and ginger spice cookies this weekend. I expect them to be amazing.

I have been buying delicious baked goods at Tilda's for over 30 years. Loved, loved, loved everything I ever got there. A new owner/baker came in a couple of years ago, and I hate to say it, but the quality has suffered. I get the new owner comes from a baking background, but don't mess with perfection! Many recipes have been altered, and not for the best. I wish the new owner would go back to the original recipes, and add his own unique touch by adding new items. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Service, however, remains stellar!

Ran in here last minute to get some desserts for my moms birthday today; and the only things that smell fresh are what i got off the trays on the wall. the cannoli cream was dry as a bone and the ends that were exposed to air were practically grey and crusty. the shell was not crisp whatsoever; same deal with the Napoleon pastry(the puff pastry layers were STALE AND DRY) the shortbread cookies were meh, could’ve been fresher. I went to Tildas specifically for the rainbow crumb square- which they didn’t have. I should’ve just said thank you and went somewhere else. The new kids they have are sloppy at storing/wrapping/rotating out old stock.

Never ever EVER going again. It’s worth a little longer drive to Uncle Giuseppe’s than waste money here.
