The manager is a nasty disrespectful woman who will call the police on you if you stay after purchasing. The booths and gazebo are apparently just for show. Staff are careless and rude, blaring rap music into the late hours.
Their subs, and deli sandwiches are fantastic! The meat are so fresh, and tasty. I think they are probably better than Subway! Their staff are nice, and good workers.
Thought I would give Byrne a shot on our pizza. Ordered a Meat Lovers pizza advertised on their menu at $17.99 for pickup and $21.99 for DoorDash. I picked up the pizza and realized when I got home that I was charged the higher DoorDash price. I called the store and after getting a busy signal for 10 minutes I was told by the woman that answered that she did not ring me out and did not know why I was overcharged. I was told that I need to speak to the manager tomorrow between 7AM and 3PM. This all went down at about 7:30 PM. Apparently there is no manager in the store from 3PM until the next morning? Seems odd to me. Anyway, I’m not going to waste my time, money and energy on this place. The pizza wasn’t good. Very dry because they skimped on sauce and almost all of the “meat” particles were burnt to a crisp. They can keep my $4. I’m done.
The night crew in here is absolutely the best. Always great energy the food is great them boys needa raise !
Fairly new building and pretty nice location just off of 365 at the Rome exit, has a self serve coffee station and full service food for subs and some deep fried stuff, stores is usually really clean and the bathrooms seem to be well kept, there's 8 i believe double sided pumps and most also have diesel available, there's also a great restaurant across the street should gas station food not really be what your after, but either way it's worth a stop to refuel or grab some drinks for home on your way outta town
If you can't make it to a farm stop at a Byrne Dairy for the best bottle of milk around! This location is clean, and the employees are very pleasant. I usually visit during the daytime and always enjoy a coffee/donut with a fill up at the pumps. Especially with the discount I get with my Byrne card! Always take a look at the daily specials for a good deal... Ahhh the ice cream is the creamiest around, might even beat Stewart's.
Only got gas
All around great!

All around great!

If you're going to charge $10 for a med sub, the bread should atleast be fresh, we have never had a sub so stale, like eating a dry sponge
I ordered a milkshake and I waited 4 minutes someone else order one and I got mine last it also took about 10 minutes to get it
Great gas prices, good service, amazing subs, great deals, one of the better Byrne Dairy’s I’ve been to since moving to New York. They’re always stocked up on everything and the employees are nice. Thank you guys for continuing to service Rome with the best quality.
EXTREMELY FRIENDLY SERVICE/employees!
Esp being its @1 A.M. when i stopped... ?... Best part was = The FRESH* COFFEE BREWING√ ?...
It's the place for the Undesirables, to be at night. Lots of loitering. Lots of begging for your cash or to buy a stranger food.
Prices of products, in the store, are even worse. Very high prices. Sad that stores in poverty neighborhoods, always charge way-to-much compared to other local stores. Problem is...Byrne dairy is open 24 hours. Most stores in Rome close after 10p.m. So if you want to save money, best to enter another convenience store prior to that time.
The prepared/cooked foods(hamburger/pizza) are simply pre-processed. You're better-off buying beef/chicken jerky. Beer, is higher-in-cost at Byrne Dairy than most other stores in the area. Keystone Light, should not be over $2.00 per can. Tobacco products at Byrne Dairy, are the second highest price, in the Rome, New York area. For a chain store, that's really...pathetic. Small business operations have the lowest prices, beating-out Byrne Dairy by over a $1.00.
And do not leave any door unlocked or any bicycle unattended for even a minute. People around and in back of the outside of store, are always on the prowl, awaiting an invitation to steal-from-you. And watch-out for drunks at all times. Many park at Byrne Dairy, stick their head out the door, and vomit. Why there is never a DWI checkpoint at the store is very vexing.
It's a nasty store, in a nasty neighborhood. Go there if you must.
