Day time it's a great place for a burger but the bar gets busy by 9 and the burgers suffer. I got one the other night that was really rare and it gave me the scoots.. But the other 3 times I ate there the burger was great. During the day when they are not focused on the bar as much they make a damn fine burger

Went there for the live music. When we got there they weren't serving food due to a party, would have been nice to know ahead of time. Eventually, we were able to order. The famous burgers were a bit disappointing. Servers were great. Atmosphere was typical for that area....very loud. Music entertainment..Big Shawn Sexy made it all worth it!

The BEST, BIGGEST, AND MOST DELECTABLE BURGER I've ever had!!! Liz was so accommodating, she invited my dog & I in for our meal! On a Sunday night at 11 p.m., when nothing else was open, I found the greatest establishment to eat at. And these aren't dollar menu burgers, folks.. 1/2 lbs. Cheeseburgers (cooked to order) worth every penny! If you are leaving Walmart DC#6038, head to Rome, NY, and eat @Dematteo's! DON'T MISS OUT!!! (And they were so good... I ate 2!)

Place is actually ridiculous. Four burgers and three salads… to go and the charge 15% gratuity. For what? Overcooked crap and store bought food. Pathetic. Also, employees are garbage. Don’t know how to talk to customers. Definitely will be telling others to spend their money elsewhere and you are not worth the headache.

De Matteo’s has plenty of seatings. There are plenty of domestic and imported beers available. Typical bar, nothing special about this bar. Not crazy about their burgers, but many love them so if you like burgers, I’d suggest you give it a try.
Parking: Parking available across the street, on street, and in the back of the bar.
Trucker here in town loading next door at Alloy Steel… noticed locals going in & out decided I’ll go for chicken wings! Nope… they’re known for their Hamburgers… I ordered Cheeseburger and the CharGrilled taste was phenomenal! Bartender guy was welcoming but quite busy attending to everyone inside but managed everything well.
