I love Ferlo’s donuts! They are in my top three of the best donuts I’ve had. The plain cake donut with maple frosting with chocolate drizzle is my favorite followed by a close second of the plain cake donut with chocolate frosting. Breads and rolls are outstanding. The smart repeat customer looks to the left immediately when they walk in to see what’s on the discount shelving. Deep discounts on day old products is appreciated. The tomato pie is good, not as good as the top places in Utica, but definitely worth getting. Halfmoons are unique with hint of orange flavor in the chocolate. Service is outstanding as Andrea took care to box my treats to make sure my halfmoon frosting didn’t get smooshed in a bag with donuts.
Vegetarian options: Depending on restrictions I think vegetarians can find something.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten sensitive people should probably not bother coming here.
Parking: Plenty of parking but some people don’t know how to park so it gets interesting.
Kid-friendliness: Heck yeah! Lets kids pick what donuts they want.

Whenever we are in Rome, we make it a point to swing by here. The tomato pie is simply to die for! A classic old school bakery that hasn't changed its way of doing things in probably 50 years. And thank God for that.

Went for first time, wanted to look around. Young blonde at the register was RUDE. Acting like we were holding her up when nobody else was even inside. We had to giggle that she had a tip container... good luck with that!
