Went for a late breakfast, classic diner set up and service. However, the waffle was extremely dry and the waitress spent more time chatting with regulars than making sure everyone was ok. So much so that when we wanted to leave we went and stood by the register for several minutes before she realized we wanted to pay. Then she got distracted while ringing us up and another waitress had to finish it. I think they're great with regulars but as someone who stopped in to try something new, was not impressed and felt like an imposition.

Our 1st visiting to this gem of a restaurant. Very friendly and relaxing environment. Staff greeted us immediately with a warm smile and pleasant conversation. Breakfast was excellent and coffee was constantly topped off! Would definitely recommend for a quick, tasty breakfast meal.

We visited this restaurant due a delay with the Amtrak train and was not familiar with the area. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. We had the option to choose were we wanted to sit. The food was delicious! A choice of muffins (changed daily) made there and delicious as well! Great portion size of everything we ordered! More than we would normally get at a restaurant at our residential area. Everyone had a smile and it seemed like most customers knew each other and/or the owner. We enjoyed our experience there very much! If only we lived near by we would visit more frequently. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

They only accept cash or checks. I don't get this place, we just left a different restaurant that said the same thing. But here we just gave up and stayed. At the end of the day the experience here was just fine. It isn't the most comfy place for me personally, but it is basic not bad quality standard breakfast food. You won't find anything overly crafty or extra high quality, but the people were nice and the food was fine. If for some reason you have cash on hand, or don't mind using the ATM next to the table, this place would be fine. The coffee is standard not great typical old school breakfast place coffee, to which you'll happily add milk to smooth it out.
Great little hometown dinner with the local favorites for any "out of towners"... stop in and see Donna. (Warning - it does get busy!)

We were looking for a local dining experience in Rome and we were thrilled with Iron Kettle Restaurant. Jennine ( spelling ☹️) was our server. She was awesome. The food was delicious. We could tell many locals are regulars. VERY, VERY friendly community. Hope we travel through here again. Keep up the great work and making memories for your diners.
