My husband and I relocated from the city about a year ago and have truly been embracing wine country. We’ve been to some really amazing wineries but this one goes to the top of the list! We went for a tasting yesterday and had a wonderful time. The staff are so lovely, welcoming and knowledgeable. Our favorite staff member was Ham, resident canine who was beyond adorable. The wine is top of the line. I can honestly say there was not one we didn’t love and left with 20 bottles. But I would recommend not leaving without their Sparkling Brut and Ruby Port. We enjoyed delicious bread and cheese with our tasting as well as a basket of French fries that were the best I’ve ever had. It’s clear these people know how to do it right. We will definitely be returning. This winery was referred to us by our neighbors who go there for a monthly dinner they offer and rave about so we will be trying that as well. Like I said they do it right!!

Good wines, friendly & knowledgable staff, (sanitary pours too). Cute setup inside. I was here for a wine trail event, but would definitely return.

It's my favorite winery on the trail. Personable and fun staff, fantastic wines and spirits. The Loganberry wine is sooo good!

Visited Knapp Winery on our trip to Fingerlakes. On our arrival the staff directed us towards the beautifully decorated tasting room. As we sat down admiring the room our waitress puts down two menus with a couple pencils and asks us to pick 6 wines. The menu was non descriptive-I had no idea what to pick, so I proceeded with randomly checking off some boxes. The waitress then took those menus from us and started our tasting without describing any of the wines. With every pour we had to ask “which one is this again?” And all we got was the name of the blend. We were so disappointed and underwhelmed by the lack of attention and detail provided by our server. We rushed through this one and continued with our amazing winery experience at Montezuma. We had been collecting our favorite bottles from different wineries on this trip but sadly the lack of interest shown by the server left a bitter taste in our mouth. Maybe skip Knapp if you find yourself on the Cayuga trail.

This is not a diamond in the ruff, this is a diamond everyone should find. The service was great, food incredible. The menu was well done and had selection for everyone taste. I recommend you look for this diamond and enjoy everything they have to offer. It's easy to find.

Jamie was phenomenal! We had a wonderful experience at Knapp Winery. Between the bread and cheese, atmosphere, and wine we thoroughly enjoyed our time. We will definitely be back!

Came in for a tasting with my mom 30 minutes before closing and the staff was very accommodating. Our server, Kevin, was very knowledgeable, kind and helpful. He’s very good at what he does. Thank you all for the great service!

My husband and I came here as the first stop of our latest vacation for a wine tasting. Matt was an unbelievable help in determine what wines went best with foods and went into great detail about each wine. The wines themselves were amazing and we will definitely be purchasing a few to take home with us. The complimentary cheese and bread was delicious. Buying some of the dip to take home with us! Will definitely come back here again!

Rude greeter. Got there hour before closing. Only a half dozen people there. Told us we could only sit inside and kinda sniffed at us. Walked away. Rudest nasty greeter,No wonder the place was practically empty.Fire this a-hole! Maybe people will come back. Edit follows:(That was a quick and justified note off the cuff--Clarifying-/ Friday, Knapp Advertised Music and Food and Wine for this evening. Our party of seven Responded to the aforementioned music, food and wine 5 to 8 pm.Got there w/o reservations. 6:45.In the Front portion, unhappy musicians were playing to only 3 tables. The harried and only waitress made no attempt to greet us. I seeked her out. She said we had to get our own food in the back restaurant... ok, Cole?!When we went to the restaurant, the rudest head waiter ever, didn't show for 5 minutes-- and when he did asked for "reservations" Huh? Cole?? You advertised music food and wine. I said to waiter, "your inside restaurant is empty and why can't we sit where we want outside -- only 3 tables occupied there. And still an hour left for service.." . he just turned away w/o offering menus to look at. We grabbed some and found it a boring menu of overpriced food in a empty cafeteria setting. Obviously, service seemed to hate us. We were dressed appropriately and he wasn't coiffed well either. Why the attitude, Cole?? - owner and responder!?Turning away. We quickly decided to seek friendlier venues in Geneva. We found Microclimate on Linden Street -- . Wonderful wine and food and a 5 star rating. )I've done multiple wine trails -- and steadily service at Knapp's has gone downhill over the decade or so. Last time wine wasn't noteworthy enough to buy a bottle ... we were hoping it got better. Not !!
