Worst experience. Apparently new ownership. The servers didn’t even know the wines they are serving. There is no donkey. Don’t go.
Great Glogg wine but abysmal customer service. FedEx completely botched a delivery for the holidays and returned it. I emailed Swedish Hill twice…no response and when called, rather than apologize for a crappy experience, I was told I had to prove the reason was Fedex and not just me not being home in order to avoid a restocking fee, despite the fact that they give you nothing approximating a specific time or short window to sign for it. I outlined all the details in a follow up email and have seen no credit whatsoever a few weeks later. Never again. Out $80 and zero wine to show for it, no apology, no response, etc. I’ve been in sales and customer support roles for decades and am blown away.
This place is horrid. Went there today and they went out of their way to charge someone in our group for a 10$ vase that he accidentally knocked over off an unsecured stand. This place is an absolute circus of an operation. Owner seemed actually pretty nice but was right there when the lady charged him. Just embarrassing that they would do that 😂😂😂😂😂 it’s laughable.
their actual wine was a 2/10. Never coming back to this dumpster fire .
The staff more or less just served wine that you ordered. More like a bar than a winery. The venue was nice.
Spacious and disabled accessible tasting room, friendly staff, wines were good but not my favorites, we enjoyed our tasting but did not choose to purchase
Wine ok. Tasting experience McDonalds like.
Great wines, good prices.
It's nice for a change to be able to taste wines that aren't full of complexity. I chose the varieties that would give me more of the Concord grape flavor and am happy to say they had many. Their back deck overlooking their pond is so enjoyable. Also our visit by a very talkative pony was quite t he treat. Jamie took exceptional care and had the patience of a Saint. We've put this wine out at Halloween for the parents that accompany the children and it's been a hit. So we returned to restock for this year. Not a over the top fussy or fancy winery, but definitely friendly staff and great ?.
This place is not worth the drive. The signage was not that great until you were on top of this place. It is so far off the beaten path. But when you get here there is really nothing here. The grounds are nice, but it is not like a crazy memorable over the top winery that would draw you back. Or separate it from the rest of the wineries. The staff was just okay. Not a lot of describing the wine in the flight by the server. No history, no back story, no frill. Basically, just look at the list, pay for it, and here is what you ordered. It sort of felt arrogant. Like our wine is so good we don't need to say much about it.My guess is that they are just starting out and trying to get their feet wet.
Love the place. A great selection of different wines with little snacks to clean your pallet in between the different wines. The service is very good with lots of knowledge of the wines. You can sit inside or outside with awesome views of the lake. I always want to buy all the wines they have. It's always a stop we must do whatever we are in the area.

Great service!
Not busy at all 3 workers standing around talking to busy to greet the wife and i had 2 bottles of wine to purchase and a wine tasting left empty handed not coming back ever.
Very unfriendly people
Terrible staff doesn't even greet or serve customers. Lots of wineries here this one better ignored
Optimus is the Best! Anyone that disagrees go stick to your overly sweetened grape juice ! Staff is awesome ! Long live Doobie
