We went yesterday for lunch and the food was delicious. Everything was served fresh and hot. I had pulled pork sandwich with fries and DH had the Neba style roast beef with onion rings. Both were served with cornbread, which is the best I've ever had. We order take out from here several times per year and the food has always been excellent. This time we ate in the restaurant and the service was great, friendly and attentive. Although we were the only ones eating in at the time, it was 2PM in the afternoon. The decor is rustic and interesting. Wish I'd remembered to take a picture before we gobbled it up.

Wow~ had a fantastic experience with WT BBQ. I hosted a birthday party and they catered. They were very helpful in designing the menu and spot on with portions. The food was amazing and the service was stellar. All the staff I interacted with were wonderful. I highly recommend Wagon Train catering for your next gathering!

We ordered catering for our son’s graduation party and it was delicious!! I should have ordered more! The pulled pork was a favorite, and the Mac and cheese and chicken were both excellent also. We had zero leftovers. Thanks again!!

Didn't get to actually eat there. Wife tried to take me out for Father's Day. Website and Google all say "closes at 7". Wife called earlier in the week and they confirmed. Showed up before 6 and they are serving 1 outside group. Parking lot full of POed people that made Father's Day plans getting turned around. Outside staff wouldn't speak to customers in parking lot. Tried calling for explanation over a 30 min period and couldn't get through, likely off the hook.

Highly recommend! This was our first time at wagon train and we hope we will be able to come again. We were traveling through the area heading to Rochester and we're so glad to find this spot! My husband was a huge fan of the antique guns and decor. The staff was very friendly and the food was exceptional.

What a find!! Staff was fantastic and food was pretty darn good. One problem… I ate too much and still bought some home. Will definitely return and next trip will be for a dinner with others. Thank you.

Stopped here today for the first time. Food was awesome, great portion size and the atmosphere was great too. Definitely will be stopping here again!

Got there about 45 min. before closing on Friday night. Hostess/waitress immediately approached us saying "sorry guys, we don't have a lot left." We asked if there was any beef brisket left. She asked the kitchen employee and when he said yes, we said okay we'll stay. She threw her hands in the air and rudely told another employee to seat us. With that we turned around and left. I hate to leave a bad review but the treatment we received was unacceptable.

This place used to be good we used to get it all the time I always get the pulled pork and it was always so juicy and tender the beef brisket same. Last few times we got food from there it has been terrible. pulled pork is very dry same with beef brisket

Best wings in the 518...... puts any fried wing to shame.

I've been a customer for quite a while, but my last visit emphasizes why who you hire to interact with customers means as much as the food itself: When I walked in the door last night to have a nice, sit-down dinner of ribs, I was immediately accosted by a drill sergeant posing as an affable, friendly hostess, who demanded whether I was "picking up" or something-else. I said I was here for dinner, and I was directed to a table I would not have picked myself, but the drill-sergeant-so-full-of-herself demanded that I sit where she wanted me to sit, so without a whimper of protest I sat down. It was already feeling uncomfortable: Is this a restaurant, or a prison chow hall? So I ordered my ribs, and specifically asked that they be HOT - not something that had been sitting on a tray for hours until a customer placed an order. Ms. Full-of-Herself was apparently too self-absorbed to hear my request, because - sure enough - I got a lukewarm serving of overdone ribs that had obviously been sitting for hours, with a small, wholly inadequate spritz of sauce on top. "This will not stand", I muttered, aping George H.W. Bush's utterance after Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990. I brought the ribs back up to the counter and asked that they not come back to me until they were "HOT" - like, as they would if they had just been cooked on the grill. "You want them on the grill?" Ms. Full-of-Herself said. "Yes", I confirmed. So they came back to me after a couple of minutes, finally hot. But, to be honest, the atmosphere was not to my liking, which made the experience not the relaxing dinner I had looked forward to after a long drive from the hinterlands. I expected a restaurant, not a prison chow hall. Customer Service 101: Be affable. Be welcoming. Don't BARK at your customers - they're not prisoners in uniform. They make your livelihood possible, so treat them the way YOU would like to be treated out on the town. My last dining experience always guides the return; in this case, it's a tip-up.
