After a hike, there's this big German restaurant for family and friends. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and fun. The draft beer was delicious. It's a great vibe, I bet it would be really fun at night. They also offered to allow us to eat with our dog outside, but it's usually a sitting area for smokers. So we ate inside, but we couldn't bring our dog in.

Not a fancy place, but the atmosphere is authentic German! The food is outstanding, some of the best German food I've had in a long time. The service was great, prices were reasonable and the portions were large. It's off the beaten path, but worth the trip!

Drove over an hour to experience this authentic German Restaurant for a special occasion (party of 4, with reservations). Upon arrival, the music was playing and the atmosphere was incredible! We were seated relatively quickly and that is where the bad experience began. We waited over 30 minutes at our table before our drink orders were even taken. 20 minutes thereafter the drinks came and we ordered our food. I ordered the salmon dinner. It seemed to take an extraordinarily long time to receive our food, and not once did a waitress come by to see if we need refills on our drinks. When my salmon dinner finally arrived it looked absolutely wonderful. I anxiously cut into the salmon fillet only to discover it was still frozen solid in the middle. I discreetly informed the waitress of the issue, and she took the plate back to the kitchen with a not so pleasant attitude. 3 or 4 minutes later she arrives with my plate and rudely informed me that she through it in the microwave and it should be fine now. At this point, I gave up on the salmon dinner. I refuse to pay around 30 dollars for what i consider a higher end meal only to have it "nuked" for 60 seconds. VERY disappointed. As a side note, several of our refill drink orders never arrived. Upon leaving, we were informed they do not accept tips on credit cards, ok, no problem. We waited for approx. 10 min to tip the waitress with cash and because of the attitude she had regarding the frozen salmon, she never returned to our table. That being said, i pocketed the tip and left. I will not be returning to this "restaurant", especially with their hefty prices only to receive microwaved dinners lol. As stated, the environment is awesome, but these people have no business operating in the food service industry...

We visited a German restaurant for the first time and had quite a unique experience! The highlight of the weekend was their ‘funeral of a pig’ event, which added a humorous and lively touch to the atmosphere. While the food wasn’t quite to our taste, we understand that it may be more of a personal preference. Despite that, the overall experience was fun and memorable, and we enjoyed the playful ambiance.

Fries can be a little crispier. The sausage is really good. And the rainbow trout is amazing as well. - 9-year old Logan??

Service poor at best. We were left to sit there for quite a while before the waitress broke from her conversation from her friends as they were waking out the door. We ordered a appetizer that came after our dinner was done. My pork schnitzel was horrible, dry, and so thin that a deli slice of cold cuts is thicker which only made it overly dry. I requested a little extra gravy to moisten to meat but was told that'll be extra $6. Very very disappointed, a definite no return place.
