Love the 70s theme. Service and food is top notch. The fries are done right, double cooked. The menu is great, has a little bit for everyone without straying too far from the overall theme. My wife and I have been several times and have always left with full bellies and zero complaints.
I love a good dive and this is one of my new favorites. We stopped here on our way from Plattsburgh to Stowe and what a hidden gem! The outside is a bit bleak, but inside the place is decked out in a disco era vibe decor. There’s a special area with toys and books for children which I loved even though mine is 15 now. The service was fast and the waitress was very friendly and even indulged my last minute change of order. I got the special-fries with cheese grits, chorizo gravy, and an egg and it was incredible! The perfect food after having gone out the night before. My husband got a burger and my son got the wings and they enjoyed it. Their specialty is fries and they have a dozen plus variety of preparations. The price was reasonable and the food was delicious. I’m so happy we came upon it and would fly to Plattsburgh instead of Burlington again just to stop in.

I’ll keep this simple. I’ve tried poutine at a wide range of places across both the U.S. and Canada, and this is hands-down the best poutine I’ve ever had. The fries are perfectly seasoned, and the gravy is clearly homemade — rich, balanced, and carrying a subtly comforting hint of French onion soup.
If you get the chance to try this, you won’t regret it — and you’ll probably end up telling everyone you know that this is the best poutine on Earth.

The food and service at frencheez is amazing. They recognize your voice when you call in, and know what you want. They will even make you something that is not on the menu as long as the kitchen isn’t swamped. I highly recommend them to everyone, it is a friendly family environment with toys for kiddos. If you’re near, in, or passing through Rouses Point stop in for a bite. You won’t regret jt!!!

Food was good, service was good other than the waitress not coming before the end of the meal to check on us to see if we needed anything. And since when does the receipt come with a suggested tip starting at 25% maybe I was seeing things but that is what I thought I saw.

Outstanding service.Emma was fast, polite and accurate. Mushroom Swish Burgers were cooked to perfection, the bun was out of this world. Don't forget to upgrade your fries, you wont be dissapointed. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing at the same time. We will definitely be regulars now.
