We had the BEST experience at Gordito Kitchen! My husband and I made a last-minute reservation and when our table wasn’t quite ready, the adorable manager (I believe his name was Davis) went above and beyond to make us feel special. He treated us to drinks at the bar, sent over guacamole as an appetizer, and even surprised us with dessert-such an unexpected and thoughtful touch!
Our waiter, Timmy, was absolutely fantastic...so attentive, kind, and on top of everything throughout the night. The food was incredible (highly recommend the fajitas and the carne asada).
Between the warm hospitality, the delicious food, and the genuinely welcoming vibe, Gordito Kitchen is a true gem. We will 100% be back!
Absolutely loved the fusion menu. The food was all excellent. It was also a beautiful smaller space but set up to be roomy. There was clearly a lot of thought put into every part of the menu and the restaurant design. Gordito is my new favorite spot in Rye.

The overwhelming takeaway from Gordito is that the food is just so incredibly expensive for what it is. Three small tacos for $27. I have never seen this and it'll prevent me from coming back for sure.
The service was solid, the place itself is very nice on the interior, clean and new with a modern aesthetic. But yeah a friend and I had a dos equis each and a small plate of three tacos each that came with no side. We split the bill which totaled to about $90 for a truly humble lunch I expected to cost maybe $50.

Walked in and very nice place. Love the glass looking into the kitchen. Ordered the paella seafood. Can we get some actual good amount of rice. This is like a kid serving. It was good, don't get me wrong. But rice is the cheapest thing on the plate. I'll give ya another shot. But disappointed. Im still hungry.. 😔 😟 🙁
