Lonford’s Ice Cream. 🍦 We went with family after dinner in downtown Rye, NY. Great place for the whole family. Lots of various ice cream to choose from and sorbet. Downtown Rye is decorated beautifully for Christmas. Everybody loved their selections. Right off Main Street close to all the main restaurants.

Their ice cream is delicious. I recently tried the pink tutu, which is cookie monster, but a little different for breast cancer awareness month. It's was so good! The service is always quick and efficient. I don't go too often, but it's a treat when I do.
Wheelchair accessibility: A wheelchair can come in and move around fine, but it's a small space, so maneuvering while they are busy would deffinitely be more challenging.

We bought a cookie monster, pistachio, cotton candy, and espresso nugget. The ice cream was flavorful and not overly sweet. There are also candy of all kinds. They provided samples and that was a good thing because who likes to get an ice cream flavor that you were debating about and not like it? Plus there are at least 10 to 20 wonderful flavors to choose from! Longford’s Ice Cream RYE is great and i would highly reccomend it to anybody!

There are nice people running this place, and I like the old-timey interior. The flavors can be pretty hit or miss though. I liked their rocky road and smore flavor. The peach was terrible though—not very sweet, and very little peach taste. So in some cases, I don’t think this place was good value for money, since two kid-size cups can set you back $10. I’ll give a 4/5 because this place does have some nostalgia for me as a Rye resident.

The BEST ice cream I had in a long time! Turns out if you finished an ice skating competition, you get free ice cream! So I got a free scoop of salted caramel and Oreo ice cream; new favorite flavor??!?!? The ice cream was not gummy or like a marshmallow at all. Perfectly creamy and smooth!

The vanilla ice cream was sticky, almost like marshmellow. ( very unappealing) The hot fudge was burnt, and tasted like coffee. Giving the Sundae I chose. All in all not a great first try. Might try again in the future.
