Steak over cooked and oyster were just average. The 2 most important items of the dinner were the least enjoyable.
Always a great meal! Our waitress was amazing! Very energetic and attentive. One of our favorites
Absolutely Outstanding Experience! The service was attentive without being intrusive, and every recommendation from our server was spot-on. The steak? Perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor—easily one of the best I've had. The sides were just as impressive, especially the truffle mushroom and Brussel sprouts. Highly recommended for steak lovers and anyone seeking a great dining experience! --- Would you like to personalize it based on a specific dish, location, or occasion?
We love OSP. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for both a relaxed evening and a special occasion. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, making us feel genuinely cared for. Every dish we ordered was presented and absolutely delicious—full of flavor. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to enjoy an exceptional meal.
Had a wonderful time celebrating our 39th Wedding Anniversary. Food was excellent and our waitress Bianca was a sweetheart. She was kind ,courteous, attentive and efficient. I would definitely recommend The Old Stove Pub!
Glad to see the Old Stove back in the game. Highs: Good beef, properly cooked to order; Excellent, attentive and accurate service; reasonable prices (especially for the Hamptons); good brussel sprouts. A matter of taste: the live music. The volume was "energetic", but not so loud that it made conversation impossible. The performers were good. Lows: the recorded music, which followed the live performance, was a couple of mediocre covers (My Way, Careless Whispers, an Adele song but not sung by Adele) on what seemed to be endless loop, so we heard the same covers of already overplayed songs over and over. The Greek salad was just okay, not close to the level of the beef. The french fries were meh, at best. The oysters were very inexpensive, but also just okay -- much better oysters are a regular feature at East End restaurants, albeit at higher prices The OSP has the benefit of a legacy, but it also carries the burden of that legacy. The steaks at the Old Stove in the old days (1990s, say) were spectacular -- the best in the Hamptons by far -- and the handful of other dishes were terrific. They didn't do many things, but they did what they did at an extremely high level and very consistently. And, of course, there was Coula. Overall, I'd give the new iteration of the Old Stove a "4.2" or so. I'm glad to have them back, I think they can raise their game and I look forward to returning.
The live music was amazing and so personable and they sat us right next to the musician because of our birthday: so thoughtful. Ambiance was 10/10 and perfect for what we were looking for! Food was also so delicious. Servers were fine- just nothing special :)
I was pleased with everything. Only disappointment is the credit card surcharge. Unfortunately an annoying reality so many places.
Food was excellent, service was awful

As someone who has worked was a waitress for 10 years across multiple high end restaurants - it is insane to add $2 to a margarita for a salted rim. And if you’re going to, at least let people know it’s an up charge. It’s the principal. Waiter was great, very sweet. Prices were kind of ridiculous

First time here. We sat in the garden tent. Alone on Labor Day. I had the zucchini strips and ribs. Both were unremarkable and the ribs were clearly cooked a looong time before. Won't be back.
Great outdoor seating for families with children. They greeted us as soon as we left the parking lot. Service was prompt and food was excellent.
The variety of choices is great for a family or group of picky eaters. And they are cooked, served nicely on plates. Service not as good as it could be but the outside and the tent are nice. Eating inside is risky as there is no air conditioning and it's been hot and humid this summer. Supposedly the inside was renovated but not so.
We absolutely loved our dinner! Steaks cooked to perfection, amazing and fresh Greek salad, and such a fun atmosphere. A must visit when you are out East.
Food all around was quite good. Some of the best calamari I've ever had. They couldn't figure out how to make a Bloody Mary which was surprising. Service was great. Prices were astronomical which, unfortunately, has become the norm when dining out in the Hamptons. Had an outstanding bottle of Ch. Neuf du Pape that was quite reasonably priced. Overall it was a very good experience and I am sure we will be back.
