Our server Liam was amazing. The service and food were the best we have ever had. The mussels appetizer was exceptional as were the crab cakes and branzino. Wes dined outside under the stars and it was perfect! Highly recommend
I absolutely loved this restaurant! The atmosphere is amazing – cozy, stylish, and full of good vibes. The food is delicious, every dish is full of flavor and beautifully served. The service is outstanding – the staff is very attentive, friendly, and professional. Everything here makes you feel welcome and cared for. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I've had – highly recommend!
Great dining experience. We loved the Porterhouse and potatoes a la old stove! Martinis were also amazing!
A hugely disappointing meal. The service was mediocre at best and we don't fault the staff, as many were clearly new and it is a summer resort job after all and you get what you get. But the poor waitress who served our wine did not know how to use the corkscrew, not because she wasn't trying so very hard but because no one taught her. The Greek salad was a pale hint at what it used to be and what any decent restaurant can make. The lamb chop was not as listed in the menu. It was rack, not a thick chop, and it tasted weird. One of our part sent it back. The only saving grace to a $900+ meal were the martinis and an excellent bottle of wine. We hadn't been there since it changed ownership and we will not be returning.
The service was exceedingly slow. The steaks were good. We didn't get a chance to eat the dip trio we ordered because they only gave our party of five a handful of pita chips and never checked on us again. We've been there many times. It's usually pretty solid, but last night was not a great one for them. I'm sure we'll still give it another try at some point.
The old stove pub is a beautiful space and a very nice place to eat. However, the service is below par and there are charges that I view as excessive. If the food was fabulous and unique maybe it would be justified but it is not
What a disaster. Worst meal yet in the Hamptons. I'm not sure if there's a new owner or something, but the food was completely flavorless, it took 35 min just to get our drink, and there were mosquitoes and lightening bugs flying inside the restaurant! I couldn't wait to leave.
Liam our server was attentive and very good The rest of the staff is a bit rigid and lacking training overall. The food was decent however with all of the choices in the hamptons we aren't running back tbh. My Cocktail was just ok They overcharged us and it took 2 attempts and 20 minutes to finally figure out - I still need to check my statement to be sure the manager actually credited me properly.
Wonderful food and charming ambiance - service was exceptional after we had an issue with our order. Management and staff perfectly handled the situation and would highly recommend.
Steak over cooked and oyster were just average. The 2 most important items of the dinner were the least enjoyable.

Always a great meal! Our waitress was amazing! Very energetic and attentive. One of our favorites
Absolutely Outstanding Experience! The service was attentive without being intrusive, and every recommendation from our server was spot-on. The steak? Perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor—easily one of the best I've had. The sides were just as impressive, especially the truffle mushroom and Brussel sprouts. Highly recommended for steak lovers and anyone seeking a great dining experience! --- Would you like to personalize it based on a specific dish, location, or occasion?
We love OSP. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for both a relaxed evening and a special occasion. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, making us feel genuinely cared for. Every dish we ordered was presented and absolutely delicious—full of flavor. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to enjoy an exceptional meal.
Had a wonderful time celebrating our 39th Wedding Anniversary. Food was excellent and our waitress Bianca was a sweetheart. She was kind ,courteous, attentive and efficient. I would definitely recommend The Old Stove Pub!
Glad to see the Old Stove back in the game. Highs: Good beef, properly cooked to order; Excellent, attentive and accurate service; reasonable prices (especially for the Hamptons); good brussel sprouts. A matter of taste: the live music. The volume was "energetic", but not so loud that it made conversation impossible. The performers were good. Lows: the recorded music, which followed the live performance, was a couple of mediocre covers (My Way, Careless Whispers, an Adele song but not sung by Adele) on what seemed to be endless loop, so we heard the same covers of already overplayed songs over and over. The Greek salad was just okay, not close to the level of the beef. The french fries were meh, at best. The oysters were very inexpensive, but also just okay -- much better oysters are a regular feature at East End restaurants, albeit at higher prices The OSP has the benefit of a legacy, but it also carries the burden of that legacy. The steaks at the Old Stove in the old days (1990s, say) were spectacular -- the best in the Hamptons by far -- and the handful of other dishes were terrific. They didn't do many things, but they did what they did at an extremely high level and very consistently. And, of course, there was Coula. Overall, I'd give the new iteration of the Old Stove a "4.2" or so. I'm glad to have them back, I think they can raise their game and I look forward to returning.
