There's something special about being in the place where they grow, and then make what you're drinking/eating. Guess it was like that before globalization and we started buying bottles of whatever that were flown in from who-knows-where, made by who-knows-who, from GMO who-knows-what.

I really loved everything about this distillery. Great staff, beautiful setting, tasty cocktails and interesting alcohol choices. They grow the grain and potatoes used in their products which is so interesting, can’t get more local than that. I have been to other distilleries and their cocktails have been less than appealing but these were very good, and they also offer beer which is a nice option. I'd love to come back in the spring or summer and enjoy the outdoor area. The tasting room area is very welcoming and the staff was great. Our hostess answered all of our questions and was very attentive. Loved our visit.
