From the description we thought this may be a truck stop or gas station... but we were happily surprised to find a small old school burger "shack." We had burgers and a polish sandwich, shakes, onion rings, and fries, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious! All of the staff were incredibly nice. Seating is outdoors or take away. Would definitely return!

First time customer. Got the fish fry. Serving size was EXCEPTIONAL and it was perfectly cooked. Came with 2 small sides. Biggest and best fish fry I’ve had in YEARS. FINALLY, a place that legit lay claim to having the “best fish fry around!”…. Recommended!

Maybe we stopped on an off day for them. Nobody was in line to order but 4 people waiting for orders when we got there. We ordered 1 hamburger, 1 fries and a Beef on Weck. It took 35 minutes to get order. The hamburger was okay. The fries were soggy. The Beef on Weck was not good. Much of "meat" was fat. and the meat that was edible was bland.

I love Murphys at the West End. Always friendly. Great fresh cut curly fries and hot dogs. Their specials are always good. Prices are totally fair for the quality of food they make. And it's handmade fare. Do yourself a favor and get a fresh squeezed lemonade. So refreshing!!!!!

Omg! No kidding the best burger I've ever had in my life! Couldn't decide between the mushroom Swiss burger and the jalapeño pepper jack so I added the mushrooms to the jalapeño burger. It was fast fresh tasty and huge!
