First time visiting the Park restaurant in 20 years of staying at Allegheny state park. The server was very courteous and kind. The food was delicious and at a good price. I had the cowboy burger, it was huge and the beef had great flavor. My son had the wings, and being a Buffalo NY native I have to say they were delicious. 10/10 will return next time I stay at Allegheny.Kid-friendliness: The server was so kind to my talkative little boy. He also made sure that he had all his leftovers packed for him as his eyes were bigger than his stomach ?

The waitress was nice but overwhelmed. We wanted breakfast and they had a poor substitute for it like bowls of li1uid eggs and not good. We were looking for a buffet or at least eggs and bacon and toast.

Been coming here for over 50 years as a family. Park is beautiful and well kept. Always a great experience. Hiking, fishing, beach. What else do you need.

This Park is an absolute Winter wonderland and is a fantastic place to go sledding in Salamanca, New York. Chances are pretty good that you will find snow at Alleghany during the cold winter months, and if you go just after a heavy snowfall, you will experience an amazing place to find sledding. Whether it's a designated spot for riding your sled or tube down or you make your own downhill track like we did, you're sure to have a great time. There is no place like Western New York and during the winter Alleghany is just as fun as it is in the summer. This place is great, and the episode just shows a small little hill we created off the trail of our cabins but it was a blast and I definitely recommend this place for you if you want to have some Wintertime fun!!
