Reached out to Denise from Denise's desserts/ Smiles Sundaes to make a lemon meringue pie for my mom's birthday this year. I specifically requested a butter crust. I've always made my mom's pies and just wanted someone else to do it this year. Denise was very accommodating. Her prices for pies should be more. She's so affordable.She's talented and she's very nice to do business with. Like I said when she made my daughter's wedding cake she has a small town personal touch with big talent. Thank you Denise for a delicious pie and kind interaction with a smile.

I asked for lactose ice cream in a waffle cone... she said undoable because it doesn't stick. I told her to try anyway and if it broke she could put it in a bowl for me and that would be fine and she agreed. Then she went to make the cone and it was all the way full she hesitated a minute and purposely broke the top of it off and threw it in the garbage, i could clearly see her intentionally do it. She could have put it in the bowl like we agreed. Instead she was annoyed and she grabbed another cone and went to take the last of the ice cream in the container as she was reaching way down in and continued to do the same thing she did before and before she broke the cone again I stopped her and said that was enough and I would take it as it was. Again she looked annoyed and said she would only charge me for a small cone then I handed her $5 and told her to keep the change and walked out I do not know what her problem was and I'm not going to describe what she look like because if I do then everyone will know who she is I just don't know what her problem was but because of the way her attitude was I will never go back there again. All this senior citizen wanted was an ice cream cone SMH

We found this local sundae shop on our day trip to meet a puppy breeder. After a great meeting we thought we deserved an ice cream on a hot day. She recommended Smiles to us and we were not disappointed.The name says it all. Smiles sundaes offers a TON of sundae and cobblers and cream options among other things. The toppings inside were endless and fun to check out. My significant other tried the peanut butter cup crunch without whipped cream. He said it was delicious with tons of wonderful peanut buttery delightfulness. In case you were wondering that is in fact a direct quote, haha. Sundaes are not my favorite and I was a bit overwhelmed with the options so I chose some of the many Perry’s flavors that were offered. I ended up with a small cup of toasted coconut and dirt sundae flavors with my favorite rainbow sprinkles. The flavors went well together and it was a nice twist to a standard chocolate and vanilla. I liked that the small size wasn’t too huge. Sometimes I can’t eat a huge portion and I hate to waste food. Prices were very reasonable as well.Quite a few indoor and outdoor seating options. Staff and friendly and helpful. To go pies and cakes inside!

Ordered a peanut butter sundae and there was barely any peanut butter at both visits. On our third visit we asked for extra peanut butter in which we were charged an extra dollar. Not impressed.
