Cute place on a small Runway to watch planes come and go. Service was good , Food was good, Prices were fair .highly recommend if you’re up that way. Google diners near Saranac and look for the ADK CAVU CAFE, a Little ride from Saranac but worth the trip .

5.17.25 For 2 adults, a $10 omelet and the hangar breakfast, with 2 coffees plus tip, was $40. Food was good. Staff was friendly. Parking was easy. No wait to get served. Sounds like this is a local fave. We're visiting in the area so we checked it out.

Excellent food, Sunday all day brunch is delicious. Adorable married chef owners are in tune, low key and know what they are doing. It shows in the ambience, quality of food and a chill vibe with good service. This is the place to get a great meal, people watch the airport runway with a mimosa in hand. If I had 3 wishes they would be: a bottomless mimosa option, adding cutwater bloody Marys to their canned list AND more brunch days😜. Take my money🤑. Additionally they are real and honest, they will deal with entitled customers with grace and dignity without causing a scene, but holding to standards of restaurant etiquette that the world needs more of.

This past week my family and I stopped in at the ADK CAVU Cafe and were overwhelmingly impressed with our experience. We didn’t realize how close to closing we had arrived but the kitchen agrees to stay open and we were welcomed in. We had no idea we would be discovering an absolute gem! The service, the hospitality, the atmosphere and THE FOOD were beyond impressive! We have found another “favorite” in the Adirondacks. Many thanks to these folks- we can’t wait to come back!

We came here based on the reviews and were so glad we did! The sandwiches were delicious, way above average. The service was good - they appreciated the business. I hope they don't change. Although it would be great if they extend breakfast hours.

Go Bills!!! But seriously, been here since day 1(ish)! Josh and Claire have turned this cafe into something truly special. The food and plain ol’ regular coffee is phenomenal! It is also very enjoyable to watch the plane action, no matter your age!!
PS - I’m vegetarian and don’t struggle finding food, though I tend to always get the breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel with spinach, tomato and cheddar. If I make it for lunch, holy shit the homemade black bean burger is to die for.
