everytime I come to lakeplacid- hitting bitters and bones is a MUST! seriously some of my fav meals i've ever had in my life have been here + amazing service. great for groups. GET THE CRYING TIGER!!!
I appreciate a restaurant that puts thought into their menu options, but also a place that has good fries as a side. PBJ Burger was great, Bitters Quesadilla was great, kids quesadilla was okay. Would revisit here on a future trip.
Fun atmosphere, and you could tell the other patrons were having a good time. The food was...OK. I wouldn't recommend the Po boy. It was a log of duck bread, a few shrimp, barely any sauce and some field greens with a PILE of homemade potato chips, which were very tasty. For $14 I expected more shrimp and sauce. I didn't eat the roll and tried to scrape some of the sauce from the bread but there was barely any on it. So, it was a lot of money for bread and chips....
